And her nickname for Daniel was “Pumpkinhead” - well documented. So, why “Cracker” all of a sudden? It never did make sense - not that anything she ever did or said made sense, but this one really didn’t.

I think it was a prank HKS was pulling on Anna - calling her a hick without her knowing it.

No one said Anna understood Shakespeare. HOWEVER, in her 1997 movie, there WERE lines from Shakespeare and Howard was around at the time. Shakespeare and Dickens both used it. It's very British like the Bahamas. Dickens even uses it in a court situation.

I agree! Howard is still trying to dictate the terms, yet looks magnanimous. Howard wants to manipulate public opinion; I'm thinking cause he is looking to the future ($$$). My two cents.
