Ya know what’s wierd? Why HKS would not allow Anna to recieve or make phone calls, yet he allowed her to send and receive emails.
I just don’t think those emails came from her.
One of the talking heads said yesterday Opri is the “laughing stock” among lawyers as a result of this invoice.
She's a grandmother with a good resume. Even Steidlin was VERY CAREFUL in pointing that out.
I'll bet Howard wishes he never knocked on Seidlin's door to "make a deal". We found out an awful lot about Howard that day and we know ABSOLUTELY that he lied about the methadone.

Experience, observation, and time have taught me that you can have three "normal" children and yet have one that will deliberately go down the wrong path despite given the same parenting the other three got. I'll admit I was not impressed with the rest of Virgie's family at the beginning after seeing video tapes of them acting out. But DL would at least be safe with her as opposed to HKS.

All his “video evidence” is working against him now. I wouldn’t be surprised if he withdrew Anna’s Police Statement because we now realize the overwhelming influence he had on her and his MO.....ILLUSIONS.
I read the article the other day as a defensive statement by Opri, but the posts last night cast it in a different light.

So . . . that leaves us with someone likely to be trying to distract from the primary issues in this case. On most of the shows I watched - it worked.
Ok, put yourself in the failedmeister HKS's shoes.
Once he took on the Marshall vs Marshall pot of gold at the end of the rainbow case, HKS thought that he would make it big financially, career-wise, etc., fresh out of the water. He would be Mr. Big. His family and friends would look up to him.
With all the bips and bops taken by ANS and her handler HKS during the ins and outs of that case patience started to grow thin. Year after unsuccessful year not one single dime, no success garnered for HKS from that case.
All that HKS had gained in all these years was a D part in a not so popular tv series which is no longer on tv, an aging bisexual, prescription drug addict who was not attracted to him and who had the audacity to get pregnant. HKS sees most of his college friends have gone on and been successful. But not him, he reached the realization that he himself screwed the pooch (ANS's little puppy dog Howie). So he figures that someone has too pay.

I am amazed at Virgie’s courage and stoicism - she is my hero. Agree with a poster who related to her own mom/daughter relationship - no matter how many “fueds” family ties are always stronger than fightin’ words. Children are forever and if Virgie wanted any of Anna’s assets she would have “sucked up” like the other sychophants - it just isn’t in her character to encourage her own daughter’s destruction. Of course - Anna found cretins willing to watch her die for their own ulterior motives.

When I first read the article my take was not that it was meant to be a defensive statement, but that Opri was either unaware or something wierd was going on.
But then with all the talk about Opri and the bill, I thought perhaps I had misunderstood the article.
If one thinks about it, it really would be stupid of her to do such a thing, needless to say some of the items that are on that bill, such as charges for the cleaning of her husbands shirts.

Howard making that methadone soup that Anna likes so much.
I doubt he has the power to do that. That is important evidence to be considered. Especially if/when the jurists take into account all the vidoes of Anna being blasted out of her head on drugs. It will stay in i think, but be discounted probably.
