Go back to the 2001 will. It was written by Howard's buddies. Why would Anna appoint Howard as guardian at that time. Their association was "business" at that time. You would think she would have appointed Virgie as Danny's Guardian.

I am amazed at Virgie’s courage and stoicism - she is my hero. Agree with a poster who related to her own mom/daughter relationship - no matter how many “fueds” family ties are always stronger than fightin’ words. Children are forever and if Virgie wanted any of Anna’s assets she would have “sucked up” like the other sychophants - it just isn’t in her character to encourage her own daughter’s destruction. I've said several times that Howard may have had a vasectomy many years ago and Anna "shopped" for a father because of that and the fact that Thompson owned the house.
