AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 2226) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | February 26, 2007 | All of Us

Posted on 02/26/2007 5:24:55 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!

Good morning!!

We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!

Algore won an oscar for his docupropaganda for best documentary. When asked if he had an important announcement for the world, he started to announce whether or not he would run for the Presidency, but was yanked from the stage before he could say much of anything.

Three Arab countries between Israel and Iran (not sure which, but presume they are Jordan, Iraq, and Kuwait) have granted the air force of the Jewish State overflight rights.

Hitlery has indicated that it is off-limits for good DemoncRATS to discuss her husband's Impeachment during the campaign.

NASA has written procedures for an astronaut "losing it" in space. It involves the American product that solves all problems--duct tape.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Hi, everyone! I am home after several expeditions with granddaughter, including her first swim lesson. She did quite well and did NOT cry. She followed directions and swam across the pool with a flotation belt on.

Boy, am I tired! I am thinking I will get into my comfy PJ's and go to bed early.

We are supposed to get hit with another storm this weekend. UGH.

No, now everything is much kinder and gentler. Today they got a tour of the indoor pool and met the lifeguard. Then they put on flotation belts and got in the water and held onto the sides and kicked. Then the instructor held each one as she walked around the pool. Finally they were all given those foam noodles and kicked around for a bit.

Most of the children are under 4. I give the instructor credit for getting through the lesson without anyone crying or peeing in the pool. LOL!

I spent all day Thursday with my young friend at the hospital...

..she & her husband have been married 11 years and thought they couldn't get pregnant because of a previous cancer surgery in her early 20's.

I spent Thursday in Labor & Delivery (as her friend) and when her mom & mil, & hubby needed a break, my daughter & I were blessed to hold her hand during the contractions.....I could watch the monitor and know when it was almost over.

It's a new family unit of the hospital... and all relatives and friends are welcome...

..the labor, birth, clean-up and layette are in the same room....!!

(a little too much for my old fashion sensibilities) but she wanted it this way.

We were celebrating new life!

She did labor too....bless her heart...it was rough.

..

But at 6:40 her beautiful baby boy was born ...perfectly healthy!!!!!

I say all this to tell you in the lobby of this hospital is a baby grand piano!!

Early in the morning, one of the doctors who makes rounds, sits down and plays!!

A far cry from my first baby, laboring alone w/hubby in a Navy hospital far away from home!...All I had were green walls and a huge clock!--Not even a TV :)

My son was born in the US Army Hospital on Finkensteinallee in West Berlin. The hospital was in the old SS headquarters. Outside the maternity ward was an elaborate mechanical clock in which figures came out and banged on gongs every 15 minutes.

Green walls, Army nurses, no anesthetic (end of the fiscal year) and crowded wards.

On the other hand, the food was REALLY REALLY good. LOL!

Your Thursday-Friday forecast is our Wednesday=Thursday forecast. In fact, our local newspaper's headline in bold black letters this morning was "keep the snow shovels handy" and 6-10 in. expected. Where was this lovely snow at Christmas time? If we keep getting these snowstorms one after the other through March even I will be sick of snow because by the end of March I'm looking forward to getting the vegetable garden planted.

The hospital was in the old SS headquarters.

Wow the history that was made in that building is enough to give you chills.

The Navy medics carried my daughter around like a football!
..They crooked her in their arm and that's how they carried her.

Yep, green walls, big clocks and nothing else....

At least you had gong banging figures, lol!

I had to laugh when I saw the suite where my grandson was born. The bed and cabinets were of beautiful wood, overstuffed chairs, pretty pictures on the walls, room service for daughter-in-law and husband, etc.

After my son was born I was ravenous, and all I got was a kind nurse's salami and cheese sandwich, which was part of her lunch! The kitchen was closed until morning! LOL!

I heard today that an Iranian General was captured in Iraq but haven't seen anything more about it and nothing on FR that I can find.

If anyone else heard this, please confirm.

Oh you poor thing, you were deprived!!

I had both my babies at 5 something in the morning-(5 years apart), and ate breakfast shortly after :))
..eggs, bacon, the whole nine yards :) ..I was ravenous too!

..with #1 baby in the Navy hospital, I had a 'saddle block' so afterwards was flat on my back for hours and hours....

..and STILL ate the whole breakfast, LOL!

Can you vision this?..:)

I even remember saying...'I don't want to miss breakfast!'

Well, I'm finally home. My daughter and I have been hauling bags and boxes of small stuff for another daughter and her family to move into their new home in another county. Whew!

Early bed for me tonight, then transplanting some free hostas into my shade garden tomorrow. I always seem to get spring fever in February....knowing all the time that heavy snows do sometimes come in March...and I even sent off an order to Park Seed Co. this weekend. I'm getting READY for my favorite season.

Thank you so much! I wish they hadn't let those two diplomats go.

I wonder if the director of operations is the same guy they were talking about today. Maybe it just takes television this long to catch up to something that happened over a month ago.

Thanks again; I was wondering if I was hearing things because this seemed like really big news to hear it reported only once. FNC is too busy with more important matters like Anna Nicole Smith.
