Anyway, good morning, Class!
Pitchers and Catchers for the Washington Nationals report today. Almost everyone else reports tomorrow. Florida Marlins report on Saturday.
The chef is here. Good eats for everyone.
Garde la Foi, mes amis! Nous nous sommes les sauveurs de la République! Maintenant et Toujours!
(Keep the Faith, my friends! We are the saviors of the Republic! Now and Forever!)
LonePalm, le Républicain du verre cassé (The Broken Glass Republican)
no snow day today, much to the chagrin of xskids. but tomorrow is a possibility as it is snowing and should continue today. i bet they get an early dismissal, which in my opinion, is just nightmarish to have them on the roads scrambling to get out of town before the roads get too bad.
My jeans are ripped, so I'll have to be RIPARIAN
'em pretty dog-gone soon! :^D
"What do you say kids? They call it 'riparian.' Sounds nice doesn't it?
"Well, it isn't. It's a fancy-schmancy word for living in a van down by the river."
We are expecting this snow storm today. First comes snow, then ice, then more snow. I am shuddering already from the mere thought of it.
Home at last and cooking sausage and (gag!) sauerkraut for hubby-I will be having leftover ribs from Sunday and salad as I sit upwind of the kitchen table at the breakfast island-
I'm so tired of queen Hillary
And all her silly airs
I can't imagine who believes them
Or that anyone really cares
We know from whence she came
And it isn't from the upper crust
And her husband is a vulgar man
Who can't control his lust
Two crooked trailer trash lawyers
Who need to take a cruise
Back to some swamp and disappear
Back into the riparian ooze
Dreadin' the snow (supposed to come tonight) & dreaming of a riparian vacation somewhere. Maybe near Mexico.
P.S. I think "riparian" sounds like the name of a religion -- especially the New Age type.
Rip-at-Rian?
I ain't never gonna use that riparian word. It would make me look an even bigger fool than I already am. R i p a r i a n?
