February 13, 2007 2007, RIPARIAN
In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. Practice makes perfect.....post on....
Subbie Slip has her whip, handcuffs and legcuffs today. Tomorrow Im bringing in chains, so beware.
The rest of the stuff is locked up in my drawer. Im just letting all the new students know that we behave as if we were ladies and gentlemen in here. Those two words as if can get you an A if you make the subbie laugh.

Thought of all you frozen staters would like to be reminded that Spring will be here soon, and you'll be able to get those nice rainy days instead of this snow!
BTW - Y'all is singular. All y'all is the plural. "All y'alls" is a typo.

I figured about that, which isn't bad in good weather. Coolbreeze is down in VaBeach, as usual, but it's currently 45 down there.
Thanks very much. I am kinda cute (for my age.)
And modest, to boot :)

I got here Sunday night. It was very mild here yesterday, but it is snowing here this morning. I had planned on trying to take a train into Manhattan this evening to have dinner in NYC, but it looks like it might be the hotel restaurant instead.
Do we have any classmates in the southwest Jersey area?
We are expecting this snow storm today. First comes snow, then ice, then more snow. I am shuddering already from the mere thought of it.
Pretty.
Is it deep enough to canoe?

That's got to be driving you nuts. I take it you are in your home office and not the office office today (I sure hope so).
Jax went to school this morning feeling just fine. By 7 last night I knew she would be going this morning, after watching her scarf down the bowl of chicken and dumplings (she decided at 4 she wanted dumplings, not noodles in the chicken soup) and go for seconds, and then dessert.
Poor Becky is home with it today, I spoke with her teacher this morning, after talking to Jax teacher, about sending work Becky's work home with Jax this afternoon. Now I'm just waiting for a call from Sue to tell me the baby's prescription is ready so I can go pick it up for her instead of her having to take the 2 sick kids out in the rain.
