Good Morning Class. Welcome to School! Yes, were all here. No lumpen today.
RULES: You must use the WFTD in a sentence for an A. For a + after your A, you must bring in a link of the word usage or something funny, a poem or some prose that will elucidate the word for us.
If you need to know how to link, come to the Subbies desk in the front of the class.

Good morning or evening all y'alls. I'm up late still sneezing my nose off. Pretty soon this nose will fall off, I'm sure.
BTW, xs, I'm using a pretty close word to your "puissance" (did I spell that correctly?) today from your word yesterday. Great word! Just don't make me spell it with the Band-Aide on my finger. LOL! And another BTW, yunz were warmer than we were yesterday. What a hoot!

Her Shrillariness is finding herself as vulnerable to an attack from the left by Obama-Osama as she is to one from the right by, well, any non-communist who might run for the Democrat nomination.

Morning!
If queen Hillary had her way
She'd no doubt take us back
To a September 10th mentality
Where we're vulnerable to attack
By any wacko jihadists
Who want to have a name
Among their barbarian kind
That gives them dubious fame
That is why she needs to wake up
And smell the coffee right away-
X42 is not in charge
And she has nothing smart to say
I was awakened by sleet falling on the roof at 3 am, and now the deck and yard are solid ice-I had to put down throw rugs on it to take Husky girl out-it is 24, and intermittent snow and sleet are falling. According to the SA TV stations, IH 10 and the surface streets leading from here to hubby's workplace are shut down, and so is the highway to Castroville, where I was supposed to work today. This stuff is supposed to continue all day, with temperatures in the high 20's, so I'm going to throw some wood on the fire and work on the afghan I'm crocheting.

For so long as our government continues to employ a politically correct approach to the cult of Islam, we remain vulnerable to terrorism.

Security flaws have left our country vulnerable to attacks from China, Iran, and just about any country on the planet with a few bucks and the right connections.

Ah, the poor vulnerable people on this thread, crying at the whims of the weather. Up here in the great void, I finally dug out of the 9 inches of snow that fell last Thursday. That was on top of 15 inches that came just before the new year. We have had below zero temperatures for the last week. It is going to finally warm to the twenties today, but the wind is going to bring that "warm" air in so the wind chill will be below zero. The streets are down to packed snow and ice so driving is an adventure and no car is invulnerable to the sliding caused by the ice. The idiots that think four wheel drive allows them to travel at the speed limit have about been eliminated due to skidding through stop signs.
And you all think you have it bad.
I'll take my sanctimonious hat off now and let you all harumph me.

President Bush is vulnerable,
for his Iraq plan,
the dems are just delighted,
down to their last woman.
A vote against the war,
tis the plan of attack,
not a plan for victory,
a plan for that they lack.
From Teddy in the Senate,
to Murtha in the house,
they'll fight to stop this war,
better they lay off the souse.
On the day Saddam was hung,
they said Bush would be sorry,
violence would result,
on this they had no worry.
Instead Iraqis celebrated,
and went about their business,
the murdering thug got what he deserved,
of that they were a witness.
Hillary goes to Iraq,
a listening tour again.
Is cut and run to be her plan,
never a war to win?
When hubby wanted to be president,
she put on her happy face,
she dug in her heels and fought,
that presidential race.
Now she is poised to enter,
her presidential campaign.
President Hillary she longs to hear
while she drinks champagne.
