Best end to a college game I have ever seen!!!
and it WORKED!!! Wow ... just wow, Chris Peterson has some serious brass ....
What was the sign I saw in the stands? "We Believe"
Awesome game. Simply awesome
Leave it to the Wolverines to create an 'entitlement' based on something that makes them look better.
Agreed!
When you have nothing to lose, you have everything to win!
Oklahoma was ranked. Probably would have been #2 if not for that terrible call in the Oregon game.
Boise also easily beat the same Oregon state that knocked off a few ranked teams at the end of the year.
Apparently not!
My neighbors were screaming their heads off (inside their home) and I could hear them. There isn't any rioting in the streets in my neighborhood, though.

Interesting...
Great game!
Wasn't that the game that the refs gave to Ohio State in overtime? (The refs were a Big 10 crew too). Couldn't have the Canes win back to back titles.
Congrats to Boise! Great game.
The critisism was based on the fact that BYU beat a 6-6 Michigan. Clearly not a proper test for a national championship. Years earlier there were plenty of undefeated teams that got no consideration for number 1. Penn State finished undefeated a couple of times with no number 1, and I remember Miami (of Ohio) also finished undefeated and barely broke the top 20. (not that I think they deserved higher).
I'm thinking that it might be second only to John Elway's fabled "THE DRIVE" series in 1981 v the Browns for the AFC championship.
(I'm sure that there are other contenders, I just don't know them off hand.)
.
(IMHO, Michigan couldn't make it year after year in the SEC either. They played two good teams and the perennially overrated Notre Dame. Yawn...)
Bitter? Hardly! I'm a Floridian. My team *is* going to the big show.
I just wish I had the confidence in them *now* that I had in '96.
...stalls (rhymes with)? /tee hee
oops...c+p'd the wrong URL in my browser...

I was looking up BYU since it was brought up.
I'm here in the Boise foothills and saw and heard a lot of fireworks. I thought most of the town was in Glendale but a few of us must have stayed behind. A lot of orange and blue in the stands tonight.
Well we have Michigan hate in common then. I loathe them and the only reason they get ranked so high every year is because of reputation and alumni.
