Very nice.
Reminded me of the stable scene in the new movie "The Nativity".
For those who haven't seen it...it's lovely.

It, indeed, was very beautiful and very well done, but I'm not sure that I agree that the message of Jesus birth was silence for the purpose of looking into our wonderful selves and all togetherness. I don't know that he brought all religions together. Some say He brought a sword, a division, Light from Darkness, Right from Wrong and One way and one way only to GOD. This baby grows up to die on the cross not because man can find peace within himself, in silence and self contemplation, but in order that Man can find the peace of God through the sacrifice he offers, the sacrifice of himself for us.

Excellent, after watching for the third time without distractions I would agree with you. It is well done and it aligns with the thinking of so many world view churches today. In an effort to not offend or point out sin the churches seem to ignore Gods' teachings all in an effort to maintain membership.
He is a divider of right from wrong, good from evil, salt and light...and yes we will find peace only through him and his sacrifice for us....What a gift he gives....eternal life..

I agree. The message in the movie sounds good, but it is not accurate. The warm fuzzy feeling you get from the movie does not convey the message that Christ came to deliver.

The movie and the song, my favorite Christimas carol is a reminder of the great gift of the Father love, Jesus himself.

I've seen this twice now and the New Age-y type wording bothers me. Why couldn't the wording be straight forward and biblical?

You have the right word, it is "New Age" not the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is worded like this not accidentally. very watered down Christianity, kind of like the chicken soup that only had the chicken wash his feet in the water. One will find little nutrition, but lots of psyco babble in this brand of Human worship.

Could it be because Jesus as a baby is the "Silent Word" and because other then for the normal cries of being a newborn baby, Jesus by this silent present and his great love is calling us to accept the gift of eternal life?
As Easter is the feast of the Son victorious over death, sin, and Satan, Pentecost is the feast of the coming of the Holy Spirit that gives birth to the Christian church, Christmas is the feast of the great love of the Heavenly Father.
