Letsee...I'm in Tulsa every month or so. That's about my average between haircuts.
Many industries attempt to control people by "professionalizing" certain jobs.
It's like a "burger technician" or "sanitation engineer". They are forcing professional standards on lowly jobs, only to control the workers in some way.
Private businesses might not like it, but many companies embrace the practice.
Gee, I have never taken a road trip for a haircut...but...

why do the guys have to be over 18 if none of the women are topless???
I'm sure they don't have to be 18, but it will shut up about 98% of the critics if they have the rule.
The other 2% will complain even if you gave them a million bucks and the cure to cancer.
