One year, before my first kid was born, i had one not much better than that, seriously. I stuck it into a joint compound bucket half full with peastone. My now ex was not impressed with my frugality.

What a beautiful tree! Do you mind if I copy it and include it in a letter to my son (doesn't THAT sound like an odd request, lol)? But he's at boot camp and just loves Christmas (we aren't decorating our tree until he's home in early January) so I'm trying to include as many festive pictures as I can in my letters to him.

Mine was inspired by "The Twelve Days of Christmas". It's a Cartridge in a Bare Tree.

Nice tree, XGI! I'll put ours up the weekend before Christmas like we always do, and leave it up until just before our Twelfth Night party! We usually don't have room to leave the big one up, but the big on is in the trailer, packed with our decorations, so we'll be using a smaller one this year. I might just leave that one up for the party this year, and decorate it for Mardi Gras!!
