JOHN EDWARDS CAUGHT IN A LIE
This is rich. Former North Carolina Senator John Edwards (who? Oh yeah..him,) the former Democratic vice-presidential nominee who ran with The Poodle two years ago, has been caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Believe it or not, it all revolves around Wal-Mart...and a game console.
You see....Edwards is always bashing Wal-Mart. Not because of their promotion of eminent domain abuse, but because of their policy of promoting low prices and non-union labor. Edwards just isn't going to ever shop there. Or his he? It turns out the answer to that question is...it depends.
Eager to have one of the new Playstation 3 game consoles, Edwards sent one of his underlings to Wal-Mart to get one. Only this time, Wal-Mart caught him. In a publicly released statement, the retailing giant said "While the rest of America's working families are waiting patiently in line, Sen. Edwards wants to cut to the front." Priceless.
Now Edwards is backpedaling as fast as he can...selling the staffer up the river and saying he had nothing to do with the idea of buying it at Wal-Mart...but the damage is done. Once again the hypocrisy of the Left exposes itself: do as I say, not as I do.
Catching the pro union elite shopping at WalMart......priceless....
"The buck? Yeah, it stopped -- with that guy right over there! Get him!"
Heard this on the radio this morning. Edwards' camp is saying that a friend of a friend of a friend did this. He had nothing to do with it. And I'm Santa Claus.
JOHN EDWARDS CAUGHT IN A LIE
But it won't make any difference because he's a dem and you know what someone does in their personal life isn't an indication of how they serve in public office. /extremely heavy sarcasm for the sarcasm challenged
"EDWARDS CAUGHT IN A LIE"
What? Another one?
Edwards is pure Garbage. A complete fake , phoney and a fraud.
"Hi! I'm John Edwards. Do you like my hair?"
As I posted on my local thread . . .
You guys are missing the "better" part of the Edwards story. Limp-wristed Christensen with the N&O barely mentions the most damning part, but here it is from another report.
"Edwards, the Democrats' vice presidential candidate in 2004, spoke Wednesday to supporters of union-backed WakeUpWalMart.com on a conference call launching the group's holiday season campaign to pressure Wal-Mart for better labor standards.
"In the call, he repeated a story about his son Jack disapproving of a classmate buying sneakers at Wal-Mart. If a 6-year-old can figure it out, America can definitely figure this out, Edwards said."
Un-freakinbelievable!
1) Edwards has brainwashed his little Damian to believe that Wal-Mart is evil.
2) The little privileged pissant accosts his schoolmates for BUYING TENNIS SHOES THERE.
3) Then, elitist @sshole Edwards use his kid's brainwashed bad behavior as fodder to score political points!
There as so many things wrong with this at so many levels. Can you imagine how the lame stream media would have zeroed in on this had a comparable situation occurred to a conservative! CNN would cover it for two weeks. They'd be demanding that social services investigate for child abuse.
For the love of humanity I hope and pray this SOS does not ever get anywhere close to the White House.
The Dem bubble began to burst yesterday with Pelosi getting her comeupins' and now this. I think I need to start a file for future reference. Hmmmmm, what shall I call it....mumble mumble.....
Just further vindication of why America chose George Bush and Dick Cheney over these two idiots.
Hey come on - he's gotta have something to pass the time while "working" at the "Poverty Center" at UNC - cut the guy some slack!
I'm always concerned about the kooky leftward drift of the dems. It's scary that Dem politicians are operating in a Bizarro World where they even need to deny shopping at Wal Mart.
These wackos will give Fidel Castro a big wet one, but they don't want to be caught dead in a retail store.
He's a Democrat, a politician, a lawyer, and people are surprised when he's caught lying? The bigger surprise would be if he were caught telling the truth.
Maybe little Jack thinks people should only buy $100.00 DESIGNER sneakers!!
hahahahaha are you surprised???? I do believe he is a 'rat' so he lies.....
