The day after Thanksgiving I like to make these. That doesn't mean I am June Cleaver and always get around to making them. But, at least I think of it. These are the softest and most wonderful cinnamon rolls. Since I wasn't sure about copyright for reposting I am just adding the url for this.
This is the best tasting Macaroni and Cheese recipe I've ever tried! Thank you for sharing it!...:-)
I made your CHOCOLATE CHEESE FUDGE recipe today, and it's absolutely delicious. My hubby can't stay out of it...LOL...Thank you for sharing it!....:-)
This is an excellent recipe! I'm going to make another batch of it tomorrow. Thank you for sharing it!...:-)
Hi, if you start any other recipe threads, would you please add me to your list. Thanks!
Glad you liked it, I have made about 4 batches in the past couple of weeks, but every time someone wants to take the leftovers home (along with the recipe). I told you it was quick and relatively easy.
It is a great Christmas gift also, just put it in a nice Christmas tin. In fact that's what I am doing for our bowling league next week during the gift exchange.
Anyways thanks for the brine recipe. It will now be the only way I make my turkey!
Oh, this would be a great exchange gift for a bowling league! I was a league bowler for a little over 30 years. Had to give it up (too high of a back swing) because of a bad shoulder.
I tried a different snack recipe, but it wasn't near as good as yours. I'm sticking with this one. Again thanks for posting it, and good luck with your bowling...:-)
Glad to hear that you enjoyed it. Now I am looking for an idea on how to make individual size cheesecakes for co-workers. Is there a Christmas cooking thread started yet? ;^)
Make your basic cheesecake recipe, but instead of using a springform pan, and graham cracker crust, you use a muffin tin. Put cupcake liners in the tin, and put a vanilla wafer down as the crust (no need to crush just put it in the bottom. Fill with the cheesecake filling and bake.
For Christmas taste use a ginger snap instead, or put a little peppermint in the batter and swirl with red food coloring.
When my sister in law makes them, she just uses the vanilla wafers, and tops the cheese cakes with cherries or blueberries.
If I see the Christmas food thread I will ping you.
Thanks for the tip and please do ping me when they start the Christmas food thread.
Bumping the Thanksgiving Thread from two years ago, as a ref.
I was just about ready to ask about the brine, because I couldn't find mine.
This simple brine makes the moistest Turkey I have ever had, and it is so easy to do. In fact, I found that it saves me time and space, since I make my stuffing, using the giblets the day before, and it was always a pain to rewrap the Turkey and find refrigerator space for it. I also use the cooler and put the Turkey out on the back deck.
Confession time, one year I served myself one to many "Cosmo Slush", and I forgot to take the Turkey out of the oven, it overcooked by at least one half hour, yet it was still as moist as could be. (I am pretty much a non drinker, so two slushes tend to put me on the edge. HA HA)
I love to tinker around with the original brandy slush recipe, and I love Cosmos, so here is a Cosmo Slush. By far the favorite beverage for our holiday get togethers.
CRANBERRY COSMO SLUSH
7 cups water
2 cups sugar
Boil together to dissolve sugar. Let cool
2 cups water
4 Green tea bags
Boil together. Let cool
12 oz Frozen Cranberry Juice
12 oz Frozen LimeAid
2 cups Vodka
Mix all together (sugar water, tea, juices, vodka) and freeze over night.
Put a few scoops in glass and mix with Squirt soda, and enjoy!

Nothing gets you in the spirit of Thanksgiving is a food thread! yum when I get back from church I am going to review the whole thread.
Mmmmmmm...........yummy.
Thanks for the great recipe.....nice do-ahead for company.
Try this "less potent" CRANBERRY CREAM COCKTAIL
Blender to a nice froth: 2 tbl each cranberry juice, apple juice, vodka, 3 tbl light rum, 1/2 oz canned coconut cream, juice from one lime, dash grenadine syrup, finely crushed ice.
Pour into glass, garnish w/ skewered strawberries.
I love this thread every year, but it actually took me until I had already responded two times to realize this thread was two years old.
Oh well, Thanksgiving recipe threads never go out of date. I found a new pumpkin pie recipe I am trying for this year!
Yeah-—I remember posting the cranberry recipes two years ago.
Old thread-—but the recipes are still great.
Yep, this thread is a keeper! Looked it up to find a couple super recipes I’d lost :)
