Well, Webb has an 1800 vote lead with 99.35% of vote counted.
McCaskill just took the lead for the first time in MO, with 3009 of 3746 precincts (none from Kansas City few from St. Louis).
Tester has a 13% lead over Burns in Montana.
If you count Leiberman and Sanders as Dims and those 3 races finish as it looks they will, Dims have both houses.

MO looks bad with Talent Losing and they are only counting votes in KC and STL.

Look at the bright side. The dems now have to keep their word to defund the war, pull the troops out, impeach bush, get us off of foreign oil, and give us free health care.

Too bad we didn't manage to at least get a few post holes dug on the border.
Neither the prez nor the Rats have the slightest interest in funding the border fence, and it will not happen. They will opt for the "virtual fence," i.e., nada.

Please help me with this one question. Doesn't the house and senate need more than a 50% vote on bills to pass them? Doesn't it vary between the house and the Senate? I'm sorry to ask such an elementary question.

The Democrats are incapable of leading.
So are the Republicans. That's the problem--the state is an overflowing toilet and both plumbers in the phonebook are incompetent.

He has one? I wonder sometimes.

Thats what I mean. Are there enough votes in the other parts of the state for a "comeback".

None from Kansas City and few from St. Louis is incorrect. Almost all of both CITIES are in, and most of the COUNTY that includes Kansas City (Jackson) is in 85%. A key Republican stronghold - Joplin (Jasper County) is 0% in, but SUBURBAN KC and St. Louis are also partially out, which should SLIGHTLY favor McCaskill. It's NOT over yet.
Nor has Allen lost for sure in Virginia - some absentee votes haven't been counted yet.

"Yeah, well say goodbye to your tax cuts being permanent and so much for another conservative on the Supreme Court."
Could be even worse. Our homeland will probably be hit again. With Dems in charge we can just about count on it. Is your disaster box well stocked?

"The Democrats are incapable of leading."
But they are great at raising taxes, creating government dependency, and destroying our foundations.

I don't know about a setback. that would imply that they were going somewhere. It's been pretty clear for a while that all of the grand agenda was just a pipe dream.

America no longer exists. Amnesty for illegals will pass now, and everything socialistic will be occurring from now on.

THANK GOD Ronnie Reagan is not alive to see Bush squander his revolution. Liberal republicans are the problem. We have no one to blame but ourselves. Lick your wounds and LET'S GET TO WORK.

"America is doomed."
It is not doomed for crying out loud.
We can vote them out another day.
There ARE more elections you know.
Fight em!

If this is the case it puts Lieberman in a very powerful position. He can causus with whomever he pleases since he ran as an independent.
He is conservative on defense and often judicial. He could throw in with the Reps for a Chairmanship of the Senate 'committee of choice' and thus keep a strong pro-Israel body in place.
It will become interesting.

The Senate needs sixty votes to stop debate, but only a simple majority to pass legislation, with the exception of foreign treaties.
