they'll notify the family to assure them their loved one wasn't harmed.

How is THAT conversation going to go?

Firefighters rarely see these kind of fires.

Eeeewwwww!

Although I'm a tad confused by this:

The crematorium is back in business and the funeral director said they'll notify the family to assure them their loved one wasn't harmed.

Do they mean the chap they were cremating?

Wasn't harmed!? First of all, the man is dead. Second, isn't that the whole point of cremation?

Insofar as their mission was to burn this guy at such a high temperature that he was reduced to ash, I fail to see what 'other' harm could be done that would require an apology or assurance there was no harm done. Puzzling. Very Puzzling.

Wow, 600lbs. I wonder why he died? BTW - the story reminded me of the movie The Alamo when Davy Crocket describes eating potatoes from the celler of a burned house, cooked from the grease of Indians they trapped inside. Ummm... taters...

All I do is feel sorry for those poor large folks. I'm sorry our food industry has created man made food to such an extent causing addictions to food as nicotine is to smokers. Even these so called diet sodas with aspartame has caused addictions and creating even more fat people. Research is now proving this. ;o(

Preservative foods [man made foods] were innocently created for shelf life...it has turned into one ugly monster.
