The charges against the Duke lacrosse players should be dropped immediately, and the people demanding the dismissal the loudest and most forcefully should be the very people who have made a living allegedly fighting against racial injustice.
I've said this before, but it's worth saying again: Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton should be in Durham, N.C., today, promising civil disobedience until the charges are dropped and prosecutor Mike Nifong resigns.
Ed Bradley and "60 Minutes" should never be mistaken for Thurgood Marshall and the Supreme Court. Bradley is just a TV reporter and "60 Minutes" is just a TV show, but you couldn't help but be moved by the story they aired Sunday night about the Duke lacrosse rape allegations.
The three accused players gave their first interviews, and two of them claimed they had airtight, documented alibis. The accuser's one-night sidekick, Kim Roberts, seems to have settled on telling the truth rather than trying to spin the story for fame or money. She contradicted several of the statements the accuser gave to police.

Right between the red cup on the right and the blue shoe is the watch...12:00:29
That's how she makes her living. Why would she stop? I am not surprised at all she went right back to stripping, in fact I expected it.
I doubt she ever understood the consequences of making these allegations. After all, she alleged all kind of things about other men before, and police didn't seem interested in pursuing any charges.
The position of the cup relative to the white shorts behind it does not seem to match, but it must be right in that sequence though.
There must be lots more pictures we haven't seen.
"As a result, she is getting by on what little she saved before the alleged incident, Jakki says."
Just a little look back at one of cousin Jakki's best performances in the press. What a giant stinking load...

They don't look out of control at all. A poster on Talkleft said they looked like they are watching a product demonstration at a tupperware party. LOL.
"The Wilmington Journal has confirmed that an NCCU student organization that collected thousands of dollars to donate to the woman could not get her to take it, and is still holding on to the money."
They should have gone to the strip club....
I've read enough of Michaels through this to conclude that his only agenda is himself and the rest is all a hustle.
Mangum must not have known about Kim's 911 call, or she's even dumber than we realized.
Exactly. They are just sitting there.
Why would Kim want to call the police or go anywhere near them if she had assisted with the rape? Why would Kim ask Mangum if the boys hurt her if she helped them do it?
This is all such BS. It's obvious no rape happened, and Liefong knows it.
People should just ignore him. He's a wishy-washy asshole looking for relevance in all this.
Don't bother. He's not important.
I couldn't agree with you more. I for one couldn't care less as to what he says.
I think you're right. There have been a few shots that seem to be taken one right after the other and couldn't have been saved and another retaken so quickly. If they're taken with cell phones.. maybe not so with cameras..
I wonder if these are actually grabs from mpegs instead of single shots...
Oh Cash. How disappointing. The show was one-sided because the case is one-sided. There just isn't a shred of evidence other than Crystal's credibility-challenged words. I'm sure Bradley would have interviewed Crystal but she apparently declined.
Explain to me why the pics of the shoe are important? There is one pic of Crystal on the floor in her bare feet (16 min in on Tivo). I'm sorry for being dense. What are we trying to determine?
I'm thinking stills from a digital camcorder recording....
Which would mean we also have video...
Hmmmm.....and is that blonde attorney suppose to remind us of Hillary??
Woods does do a heck of a job in this although I thought tonights story was weak....Maybe because it made the Duke Case ramble through my head.
oooooooh my!
