If you can't access Yahoo IM either your account may be locked up due to someone hacking your Yahoo account.
This happened to me last month and for two weeks Yahoo wouldn't tell me anything about why my account was locked.
Google Yahoo and get their phone number. Just MAYBE you will be lucky and get someone to tell you what is going on with your account.
Good Luck!

I opened my Yahoo mail and all I got was this lousy message from Algore:

You can give the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee the resources it needs to carry out its strategy, to keep our candidates ahead in the countdown to Election Day. I ask that you make that choice.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Al Gore
200 pieces of bulk mail and this crap shows up in my inbox.

Thanks. I can access "My Yahoo" and my calendar with no problem though. It's just email that I can't access.

Method of access? Most people use it via the web browser, but others use POP access. I suspect that most who replied use web interface.
Second question: Have you shut down the browser, started it again, and gone to mail.yahoo.com, or are you using a bookmark? There are individual yahoo mail servers down at the moment, but it should route around them.
If you were using Firefox to access, have you tried Internet Explorer, or vice versa?

I'm using IE. I did just open a new browser and that did allow me access to my main mail page. I can't check my message however. At least that's progress! LOL!

I am actually having trouble with my Yahoo mail account today. I can't delete anything. Everyone else on this thread seems to be doing fine, so I guess it's just you and me.

Block them & they change their name & send you 10 more. You can't make it stop.
