Things are quiet and peaceful in small-town Jericho, Kansas, but when a baffling explosion occurs in the distance, Jericho's residents are plunged into social, psychological and physical chaos. No one knows what to think, and fear of the unknown takes over the town, especially because its isolation cuts it off from outside help. When nearly everything they know seems gone, will the residents of JERICHO band together to face their unfamiliar and mysterious new world?

Good enough to watch follow up episodes. It has potential.

I really liked it!
Like a realistic "what if" scenerio.
I also like the fact that its mainly in small town usa. I think (or hope) that it will showcase the inginuity and rugged individualism of the average american , especially middle americans.
I think that this could be an opportunity to really who any muslims out there watching just how easily america could get their shit back together even in the event of a huge attack.

You certainly are optimistic about Hollywood's vision of America.

It bogged down and got a little kumbayah at :50 but that last bit sure upped the stakes. Without spoiling it, the question left for next week is "what was that all over the road?" I thought it was dead birds...

Guys ... BenLurkin hasn't seen it yet. So much for "without spoiling it" :) Yup, dead birds. I guess the Capt. Riley Hale (Christian Slater) buterflies would be dropping dead too.

And the ex-cop from St. Louis seems to have his stuff together. Sophisticated big city guy shows dumb flyover country hicks the way.

Stupid songs popping up at the wrong moments It's another form of product placement all too prevalent these days - giving exposure to third rate musical artists.

It sucked big time pondwater. Gerald McRaney should be sufficiently embarrassed to be appearing in this. If this show is successful it will prove that H. L. Mencken was right - and then some.

Did anyone else watch this turkey tonight? I'll never get that hour back.
To: EveningStar
No. Never heard of it. Was it a cable or network piece of work?

Yes. I don't watch that much network tv anymore but I watched out of curiosity.

I saw the pilot a month ago -- best description I can come up with for it: "One Tree Hill" meets "The Day After" -- and it's a complete waste of electricity.

Just damn.
If you want on the list, FReepmail me.
