10 Most Beautiful Cars of All Time Posted 11 hours 56 minutes ago under: News, Design Our search for the most beautiful cars was primarily guided by one criterion - undoubtful and unmistakable beauty, as much as it is possible to use that term when referring to cars. It is a rather ungrateful theme, since beauty is very subjective and impossible to generalize. For some, there can be no match to old timers, while on the other side there are car enthusiasts who believe that car design has never been more perfect than today. Just think of the Rolls-Royce, Pagani Zonda, McLaren F1, Ferrari Enzo and many other. How can they be compared to Ferrari Dino, Talbot-Lago, Jaguar, Porsche Spyder, Duesenberg etc.? We hope that you approve of our choice and feel free to add your personal best in the comments.

Love the looks but arguably one of the worst rear suspensions ever placed in a high-performance car.

I'd forgotten about the P4 after all these years.
You're right...it should make any list.

I like the last one the best. Nice and shiny red! :)
It's a Ferris Bueller-type Ferrari isn't it.
I wouldn't drive it, I'd just rub it with a diaper.

These best-of lists are rubbish because beauty is up to you.Of course they are; it's all subjective, just like movies and music--it's just for fun :)
What's a scoop?

Uhmm, that's an Enzo just to the left. That would be neat to see that in person. I did see a convertible Lambo Diablo yesterday.

My dad once brought a used Hudson home to see how the family would like it. I believe it was a Hornet, about a 1949? As I recall, there was enough room between the back seat and the front seat to play a game of tennis. At any rate, my father did not buy the car. It would be worth something nowadays although it would still be as ugly as a mud fence.

I remember reading that during an automotive design engineering conference the Duesenberg was chosen the all time best design of any automobile.
It's a doozy!
The English expression "doozy" (also "doozie") -- as in "Man, that one was a real doozy!" -- comes from the name of German-American car maker Frederick S. Duesenberg (1877-1932, born in Lippe, Germany) and his luxurious high-powered Duesenberg roadster. The American-built Duesenberg SJ could reach speeds of 130 mph (210 km/h). The Duesenberg Motor Company produced its streamlined, elegant motor cars from 1917 to 1937 to compete with similar expensive roadsters such as the Italian Bugatti.

The Daytona is about a 1/2 decade after the faux-Ferrari you refer to. The car in Ferris Bueller' Day Off was a kit car based on an amalgam of early 60's Ferrari 250 series. That information is based on Ferrari historians and the producers of the movie.
Just the same, the kit car was beautiful as is the Daytona. There are very few Ferraris that I would consider ugly. The Ferrari 400/412 is one of those ugly creations
The Ferrari 400 and 412 models are lesser-known front-engined 2+2 coupés. Their design is derived from the 365 GT4 2+2 version of the famous Daytona. Production began in 1976, with the improved 412 introduced in 1985 and phased out in 1989. Today, the 400i has depreciated to the point where it could be easily be purchased for the price of a new family car, while its sleek, Pininfarina-designed lines and relatively limited production numbers give it potential as a future classic. Meet the 1996 Ferrari 550 Barchetta Pininfarina. I'll never have one, but how could you go wrong in terms of attractiveness?
