10 Most Beautiful Cars of All Time Posted 11 hours 56 minutes ago under: News, Design Our search for the most beautiful cars was primarily guided by one criterion - undoubtful and unmistakable beauty, as much as it is possible to use that term when referring to cars. It is a rather ungrateful theme, since beauty is very subjective and impossible to generalize. For some, there can be no match to old timers, while on the other side there are car enthusiasts who believe that car design has never been more perfect than today. Just think of the Rolls-Royce, Pagani Zonda, McLaren F1, Ferrari Enzo and many other. How can they be compared to Ferrari Dino, Talbot-Lago, Jaguar, Porsche Spyder, Duesenberg etc.? We hope that you approve of our choice and feel free to add your personal best in the comments.
Different strokes I guess. I've owned Jags all my life and have NEVER heard anything but compliments on the ETypes. This was my highschool car back in 70-72 (as it looks today at the current owner's house in Denver):

And this is the one I own today:

I also have a pretty nice 1950 Daimler Special Sport (only 500 ever made from 48-54):
That sounds reasonable to me, except I don't think they would have needed to dismantle it to carry it around. My friend's brother owned one back in the 60s, and there didn't seem to be much metal in it. The roof was fabric, and the seats were something like a lawn chair. Four beefy high school kids could have picked it up. That car was great fun. Unsafe, but fun.

What a dump! No airbags, no windshield (or wipers), a hole in the roof...the libs will have Fred beheaded for not wearing a seatbelt..it's only saving grace for the libs is that it runs on foot power... poor dino, though, he's bound to become a fossil fuel for our SUVs
I meant Goodfellas.
I bet that was a real beauty.
I always thought that color was the prettiest.
I had one like this, though not this particular car.

To me, the 442 was always a close rival to the GTO.
LOL!
Did I see upthread that your first car was a Rabbit?
My daughter's first car was a chocolate brown Rabbit.
She loved that car to death.
In fact, even though she's owned several other, nicer cars,
I believe should would love nothing better than to have her
Rabbit, again.
I can't tell you how many times I was in danger of permanently losing my driver's license in the late 1960's through the late 1970's.
It's a miracle I'm still alive.
LOL!
I know just what you mean. ;o)
Lord help him if he lights up a fag.

VVViiiivimos! Senorrrr!!!!!
After that I owned two Ford Escort pieces of sh!t. I was in college and working and I missed some work and some classes because those cars were stuck or they wouldn't start for me in the morning or whenever. They wouldn't start in below zero weather. Tinkering with the carborater when it's ten below out isn't fun! The car and tiny engine are simply FROZEN! I can laugh now, but at the time I was less than happy!!!

My goodness!
Are you sure you aren't my daughter?
She had a Toyota Corolla (?) hatchback after the Rabbit.
It was ORANGE. lol
The thing had over 100,000 miles on it when we bought it.
She drove that thing to death going to and from college,
and anywhere else she could think of going.
I learned to drive at twelve years old...cars, boats, motorcycles.
My favorite car was a candy apple red VW Beetle.
I never had a good starter, though.
So, I had to hot-wire it all the time.
Good thing I lived in a small town.
The cops would stop when they saw me hot-wiring it.
After a while, it was common knowledge that I was "okay",
and they would help me, instead of questioning me.
Corvair Monza
