Certain Republican members of Congress have played the childish game in recent years of referring to the opposition as the “Democrat Party,” hoping to imply that Democrats are not truly democratic. They succeed only in making themselves sound ignorant, and so will you if you imitate them. The name is “Democratic Party.”

Let me get this straight (so to speak). IIRC, the Dems didn't like being called Dems because.... people were so quick to associate Dems with.... LIBERALS! We couldn't have that! Oh, the Hugh Manatee!
Well, Sparky, it seems you, once again, are speaking politics to rich wives are out of the loop. Didn't you get Aunt Nancy's Fax® on what you will be calling yourself soon? (No, after the part that has this month's Soundbite Word©, but before the Bash Bush Talking Point™.)
It seems you are a Progressive! Yes, Pro•gres•sive! You didn't get the fax? They didn't tell you what to think this month, or they just plain forgot about you?
As long as you're LATZ (Lurking After the Zot), maybe you can explain this one.
I mean she's always been a Commie, but she isn't high enough in the party for it to pay well yet.
Then she married that lout lout and became a Dem. It paid a whole lot better, but it was not quite as satisfying as being a Commie. You know.
And then she struck out on her own. As a Dem? Not really. She's the smartest woman in the world! You know.
But she's on the outs with EVERYONE lately for her pandering. See, she wants us to think she's a hawk so she can get the Repug/Rethug/Repuke vote (Isn't that what you call us on DiminutiveUnderparts??).
Anyway, occasionally her true colors show through, despite all the posturing.
