Fair enough! When you're ready let me know. I can go any time.
Hey Rosie, you need a big sticker for the back of Van-sama that shows Yosemite Sam with both six-guns pulled pointing at the car behind you, saying "Back Off!" ;o)
*snort* That's pretty good!
I'm ready...except I'm not quite sure where we're going.
Skimcoat on sheetrock walls is gorgeous, but that takes skill and that means paying some BUCKS to get that done. Paul bought a condo in Somerville, and we talked with the man who gutted, then renovated the building, creating the condos, and he was talking about the plaster guy, calling him the Plaster Nazi! He said he was VEY careful to stay on good terms with him at all times because it's so hard to find someone who does such nice work. And the work was beautiful! The walls were just glass smooth, and that always makes a paint job look nice!
Good luck! Have fun!
Off to Bed Bath and Beyond for some kitchen things. Guess that's "beyond".
Do they make one of those with Jack Bauer instead?
That should do it...
Those sound like a good idea for any driver.
I'll check them out - thanks!
Ah - in our case at the beach house, we hired out the taping and texturing both - same people.
Rosie - I'll be at your gate in a few minutes... you can foller me :~)
Aww, man... they didn't take the pile of flattened boxes. Took everything else. Maybe I didn't neaten it up enough or maybe we were over the limit or something.
Kewl...
That sucks. I guess just toss them back in the garage. Did they take the boxes that had other recycling in them?
As far as I can tell. They have not done the other side of the street yet. I will leave the boxes until the other side is done in case their truck was full.
LOL! That oughta do it!
Is there a Public Works garage nearby that has a recycling container for corrugated cardboard? The folks who pick up at the curb here will take the corrugated stuff, but you have to package it in a no larger than 2' x 2' size. That's a pain to have to fold it down, so we take ours down the road to the town garage which has a HUGH dumpster designed to dump off the cardboard, and you can put large, flattened pieces in it.
Thanks for bringing me over there...now I just hope they find whatever's actually wrong, and that it isn't HUGH and SERIES.
Hopefully nothing that is HUGH or SERIES. ...At least if there's things that are on the horizon, you can kindof space them out and plan them for a time of your choosing!
At least I can hopefully get rid of uncertainty. I'm probably overreacting to some of the things it's doing...and after this, I'll have a clearer picture. That's better than dreading that it's going to just fall apart on my way to work one day without notice. ;-)
~sip~
Having more coffee. Lazy days at home are rather nice, in spite of the dollar signs that may come crashing down on me at any time...
Hey yeah - you're having a whole extra weekend here aren't ya? Are you going to work tomorrow?
