Any bets as to Joe Bob being bald now? Hehe..I like the names...especially the non-gender specific Junior.

I miss 501s. If a button came undone it might not be noticed. Unlike if the zipper slips. LOL

"In the men's department look for hoodies"

That's where I usually am! Always shopping....

They already are, along with a *lot* of other 80's vehicles. I recently sold my 85 300ZX Turbo to a collector for an absurd amount of money.

That tells me a lot about where this country is going - the 90's are getting consigned to the ash heap of history, just like the 70's are. People are starting to realize just how good the 80's were and just how thoroughly the liberals wrecked it in the 90's.

"In the men's department look for hoodies, polo-style shirts with upturned collars, burnt orange colors and unstructured denim and khaki."

So in other words, men's fashion is to still look like a slob.

Ramones, Elvis Costello, Blondie, early REM, The Specials, The Clash, Dire Straits, Human League, Fine Young Cannibals, etc.

Ah yes...the 80's. Second only to the 70's as the greatest music decade.

Remember all these "etc's"?

Cheap Trick, Soft Cell, Pure Prairie League, Dan Fogelberg, Robert Palmer, Huey Lewis and The News, Bob Seger, Foreigner, REO Speedwagon, The Cars, Dexy's Midnight Runners, A-Ha, Billy Squier, Littel River Band, Living Color, Wang Chung, The Fixx, INXS, Tears for Fears, Molly Hatchet, Motley Crue, Sniff and The Tears, Thomas Dolby, Warren Zevon, Survivor, The Bangles, Pat Benetar, Ian Drury, Extreme, Chaka Khan, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, Modern English, Level 42.....I could go on all day.

Where I grew up, it was the REvere Beach look.

My gawd, you Revere Beach babes were the hottest.
Sittin' on the wall, sippin' a PBR tall. Yikes. What memories.

And, when i was stationed in Boston, they were a nice cheap, and nearly sure-thing kind of date, unless they expected a real motel room.

Ah yes...the 80's. Second only to the 70's as the greatest music decade.

On KFOG-FM San Francisco, at 10:00 am every morning M-F, there is a show called "Ten at Ten". Dave Morey (a great DJ despite being a bleeding-heart liberal gay guy) plays ten songs from one year. When the music is from a year between 1980-85, I sometimes forego Rush for 40 minutes to listen.

Somehow I don't see that happening to the "awwwwesome" Nissan Pulsar.

Buddy, there's a frigging PULSAR CLUB here in Dallas.

The last-gen Pulsars with the modular-exterior-by-frogdesign (that's a real firm) actually command a premium, and if you can find the "Sportbak" module that converted it from a hatchback into a wagon, you can pretty much get whatever you ask for it.

Yeah, they're actually getting popular, along with the 80's Chrysler turbo cars. I mean, even the Chrysler Starion has a cult following now. On the other hand, the vast majority of 80's GM and Ford products are still worth what they always were: Nothing.
