Nearly a decade since her brutal murder in the basement of her parents’ home, the JonBenet Ramsey case was once again thrust into the public eye last week, when authorities arrested John M. Karr for the murder of the six-year-old girl. Since his arrest, Karr has confessed to the murder of Ramsey, although the validity of his confession is being questioned by those investigating the case due to inaccuracies in his testimony.
Local handwriting expert Don Lehew, of Mt. Selman, has obtained several samples of John M. Karr’s handwriting, as well as, a copy of the Ramsey ransom note, and according to his analysis, they are all written by the same person. Lehew compared the ransom note to an old yearbook entry by Karr and an employment application Karr filled out when applying for a teaching job.

Guess what?? I saw someone on CNN this afternoon that was talking about Photoshopped pictures, and doctored pictures. He used this cover as an example. It's not Ann Richards, just her head....
Is this the same analysis that was reported in the POST today or is there a second that says they match?
It was a writing tablet from inside the house, no question. An intruder could have used it, however.
The not totally conclusive part was that Patsy wrote the note. She could not be ruled out, some said, and some apparently believed she wrote it. But it was not something so exact that you could say she was fingered.
They could not prove she wrote it, because if they could have, she would have been indicted.
I'm not hysterical, but I can't vouch for you.
A perfect "did NOT write the note" was a score of 5. John scored 5. Patsy scored 4.8 or 9. Perfect match would have been 1. Patsy didn't score 100% innocent, but she certainly wasn't any where close to scoring guilty. IMO It just gave the media something to write about.
That's a bad Photoshop job on the cover of that magazine. Of course, it was 1992, so things have gotten more sophisticated, but they could at least have had the head match the body size.
Oh well, that must be why they didn't rule her out. LOL

John Mark Karr was so smothering and jealous that friends say when Lara became pregnant with twins, which the couple wanted to name Angel and Innocence, he refused to take her to the hospital. The twins died in childbirth. "He was afraid the doctors would ogle her," said a classmate who lived nearby and would only be identified as Renae. "She was very pretty and he was obsessed with her. He had to be right next to her at all times." Shortly after their wedding, Karr brought Lara back to the town he grew up in, Hamilton, Ala. - much to her parents' alarm.
Although Karr projected an easygoing persona to some, pals who knew the couple in the tiny northwest Alabama town said he had a dark side that exploded in private.
They say he didn't work and they suspected he used drugs.
After the birth of the couple's first son, John, Karr threatened to kill Lara and the child, says Renae. She often escaped to a nearby graveyard.
“Over the last three years, by collecting samples of known pedophiles, I have created a profile, by identifying the things that are common in their handwriting,” Lehew said. “I’ve looked at writing samples from 23 or 24 known pedophiles to create this profile. I’ve been doing this research for about three years.”
According to Lehew, his profile cannot identify if a person is a pedophile, only that they possess the propensity to be or become one.
given the power of suggestion, I'll bet tons of people could fit.....thousands or millions of people...
and then there's me.....I don't think I write the same way from the beginning of a sentence to the end....
having said that, I am so hoping the place this pervert in Boulder.....because, I sense that he did do it and if not this murder, I'll bet he did others.....
Heard one guy on FOX say that even if he didn't do it, he believes they are bringing him in on info that he may know about who DID do it.
