BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - The district attorney in the JonBenet Ramsey slaying says there is "much more work" to be done in the case against the suspect and she is warning the public not to "jump to conclusions."

The note? Why does that point to the Ramsey's guilt? If that note was written by Patsy conclusively, she would have spent the last ten years in jail. I don't buy the note. Also, Mr Pedophile which you all are so busy defending could have been trying to disguise his handwriting-maybe he tried to make it look like a family member's writing.

I just read a post that states the complete tox report was never received. Also, I have no idea if Chloroform would show up in a tox screen. I can tell you in my biology class we used chloroform to kill animals because it didn't mess up test for liver enzymes and such (Bio/Chem major). We needed freshly dead specimins in order to study enzymatic processes.

Personally, I don't like black people in my workplace because they are more likely to steal from me. My bias against any given black individual is justified by the fact that the prison population is disproportionally black.

We do background checks on individuals we hire and you should do a background check on individuals you have watch your kids. To do anything else is living in la la land. Group membership is irrelevant. There are plenty of sicko women out there.

The guy got busted in Thailand on some sex crime. He did not want to spend the rest of his life in some Thai prison so he copped to this. I'm not saying he didn't do it but I think he chose prison in the U.S. over prison in Thailand.

I thought the same thing, especially when I read that his ex-wife's comments busts up his story a bit.

Attempts at disguising handwriting are seldom successful. Further, if the alleged perp was an interloper in the Ramsey home, how would he know what Patsy Ramsey's handwriting looked like in order to imitate it? Besides, doesn't the "disguising of handwriting" equally apply to Patsy Ramsey? After all, after analysis by handwriting experts she could not be eliminated as the author of the ransom letter.

That's the point. As to cause of death, the hemmorages present in JoBenet's eyes would indicate that strangulation was more likely the cause of death.

I have heard other murderers say they accidentally killed a person-They made it much less violent than it really was-clearly they lied. I believe they have evidence of some sort...DNA, handprint, emails with details not released to public etc. We shall see.

Chloroform in amounts large enough to cause death would indeed show up at autopsy. Not only in the tissues and blood but there would most likely be visible burns on the face and the mucosa of the mouth, throat and nasal passages.

Something could have been left out. I believe another poster said this is not the complete report. Personally, I never thought the parents or brother did it. I think the police totally botched the case and might have caught the guy had they not focused soley on the parents. Granted, the parents are always suspect, but should not be the only suspect. Now, I do not believe the DA would risk her reputation, career by bringing this guy back without strong evidence. I heard on anothter site, he is being investigated for two murders in Alabama and one in Georgia. He is a bad, bad man and deserves our scorn. I hope he is locked up for the rest of his natural life.

If this guy is not guilty of Jon Benet's murder will they send him back to Thailand to face his charges there? That would serve him right if he used this to escape Thailand.

Though the Ramsey confessor story hasn't played out in full, I want to remind my fellows here of the view I've found that best suits me when breaking stories of compelling interest arrive on FreeRepublic:

1. The first story isn't always the true story.
2. Sometimes the first story isn't really even the first story
3. Even if true, the first story isn't always the whole story.
4. The first story is never last story.

I credit FreeRepublic for teaching me to sweeten my language, because it makes it a lot easier later on if I have to eat my own words.

Defend a pedophile? I don't think so. Spotting a NUT screaming for attention is more like it. I hope the pervert spends plenty of time in jail for the California charges.

You mean, in addition to looking through the Ramsey's checkbook or computer to come up with the amount of Ramsey's bonus - $118,000, now he has time to disguise his writing to resemble Patsy's, while they are asleep upstairs? Whew, you've gotta admit, that's a stretch.

Posted it earlier that this was going to lead to more "Cold Cases" being looked at......And that one of them might be what connected him to the Ramsey case. Am betting they have the match on the DNA already but it has to be done WITHIN the system and within the case to become hard evidence.

He has a right to an attorney. No one has said boo about that yet.

You know everyone is saying that the ex wife has said this guy was with her on Christmas 1996, but where is the proof? If it was true there would already be pictures released by the media that shows he was with his ex wife at the time of the murder. There has been plenty of time today for someone in the media to offer her lots of money to dig up a photo of Christmas 96.

I don't know if this is the guy, but I think that since the DA in CO has known about him for sometime they probably have already ruled out if he was in CO in 96 or wasn't. I think we just need to trust that the DA knows more about it and let her do her job and quit already deciding if this guy is guilty or not. As of right now everyone is already saying this is likely a hoax. But we don't know that and need to be patient. If it is a hoax so be it, but lets hope this is the guy and wait for further proof when it is released to the public.

I simply can't come up with ANY motive for the Ramseys to do it. Thy certainly WOULD NOT put the $118,000 in a note to point to themselves. Read the note as "I've been watching you. I know a lot about you."
