PETALUMA (KRON) -- It now appears the only person ever arrested in connection with the murder of Jon Benet Ramsey once taught in Petaluma schools.
The Sonoma County district attorney's office is now confirming 42-year old John Mark Karr was charged with possession of child pornography in April, 2001. Other reports indicate Karr served as a substitute teacher in the Petaluma elementary school system.
Prosecutors say Karr failed to show in court in December, 2001. He's been a fugitive ever since.
Thai police arrested Karr Wednesday in connection with the Jon Benet Ramsey case. The little girl was found dead in her Boulder, Colorado home the day after Christmas, 1996.
I saw the photo on greta with the family. That is the same guy on the peculiar asian hosted teacher's resume website noted earlier by other freepers. Same dude.
Brother just stated on Greta that He went to college in Alabama????
No kidding!! Jeez, brother says he didn't even know the guy was in Thailand!
so he emailed the Ramsey's. interesting. that could mean two things:
- he did it
- John Ramsey used the emails, perhaps sending some details of the crim scene in his replies, to set this guy up to be the perp.
have at it folks...
Nate will be back tomorrow night...can't wait</s>
It looks like him to me.
Oh, Greta is going to "see" him tomorrow night.
15 minutes of fame time.
Good grief.
All information points to the fact that he's a very bad guy, but don't be surprised when he doesn't pan out as the killer. BTW, I have been listening all night for confirmation on DNA. Haven't heard it yet.
Can't wait for Nate? LOL.
Good one.
The cached file should still be available on Google.
Nate needs to knock off the Mountain Dew.
Good advice there. They may just be arresting him as a material witness.
Wait til John lawyers up, it's gonna all be a big misunderstanding......we just heard his defense warming up...
Is it? I can't find it.
"It looks like him to me"
Then I'll post the resume link again.

I more interested in how he knew details about the crime scene that only police knew. If Karr didn't do it, he certainly helped the person who did and was more than likely there when it happened.
Not just pulled, look at this from web archives:
