When I was drinking, my favorite was a beer from New Zealand called Steinlager. Excellent, clean. Molson Export Ale was good, as was Dab.

I go for the full-bodied ales, myself.
Ever had Thomas Hardy's Ale? Liquid fruitcake.

 It's made by O'Hanlon's now.

Key West Ale, McSorley's Amber Ale, Amber Bock (whis is Budweiser, I think), Fat Tire Ale, Red Hook. There's probably others, but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

To: Hydroshock
    Oh, drat, I forgot Smithwick's.

To: NormsRevenge
Foster's Special Bitter is good, too. It doesn't taste all that bitter to me.

To: Tolerance Sucks Rocks; Hydroshock
Amber Bock (whis is Budweiser, I think)I just remembered, it's actually Yeungling.

    Some of my favorites:

pilsner -- Urquell "Pilsner"... clean, malty
bock -- Paulaner "Salvator" ... full, sweet, complex
IPA -- "Liberty Ale" ... lots of citrusy American hops
fruit -- Sam Adams "Cherry Wheat" ... perfectly balanced malt, hops and fruit
 stout -- "Guinness" ... IT'S GUINNESS!
imperial stout -- Sam Smith's "Imperial Stout" ... like thick roasted cognac
Christmas beer -- Sam Adams "Old Fezziwig" ... spicy, malty, YUMMY
Belgian ale -- Anything Belgian ... They're all so different and all so good
homebrew -- my own homebrew "Mr. President" ... A raspberry Imperial stout fine tuned every year since 1989, lots of roasted barley, lots of homegrown Cascade hops, lots of homegrown red and black raspberries and lots of alcohol (8%)

 but ...

Shiner Bock. Nectar of the gods. I've become rather enamored of Tuborg over the past few months. But that's probably only because I can't get Shiner at the moment.
