I can tell you people are getting this from clothes they are buying, it is in the clothes coming from china and elsewhere. By the way, the last time this came around, most of the cases were in Southern Texas, and it was pretty clear that illegal immigrants from Mexico were to blame.
I love the scapegoat-of-the-day approach to immunological research.

nematodes that are tiny wormlike parasites that might have been originally engineered for pest control
Man-made?
the nematodes have become the symbiotic host for 'bacteria' that are said to have been engineered to synthesise fine fibres for the textile industry
It would seem the common element is 'engineered'.

...Presentations of Morgellons are frequently diagnosed as delusional parasitosis. The symptoms of delusional parasitosis are very similar to those presented by a Morgellons sufferer who rejects conventional diagnosis of their symptoms, or who presents a belief in the existence of an organism that cannot be observed except by the patient. There is no agreed upon differential diagnosis since Morgellons is not an accepted medical condition...

KCAL9 ^ | 5/19/06 | KCBS Moregellons Makes Your Skin Crawl With Threadlike Strings Coming Out Of Sores (CBS) LOS ANGELES It's a "mystery straight out of the "X-Files." But those who suffer from it will tell you it's painfully real. Imagine sweating "beads of a *black tar- like substance" -- or pulling colored threadlike strings from sores all over your body. Worst of all... not only are doctors unsure of what it is, many tell patients they're making it all up. The disease literally makes your skin feel like it's crawling-- but here's the real scary part for us. Out of the entire country, the... |

KENS 5 Eyewitness News ^ | 05/12/2006 | Deborah Knapp If diseases like AIDS and bird flu scare you, wait until you hear what's next. Doctors are trying to find out what is causing a bizarre and mysterious infection that's surfaced in South Texas. Morgellons disease is not yet known to kill, but if you were to get it, you might wish you were dead, as the symptoms are horrible. "These people will have like beads of sweat but it's black, black and tarry," said Ginger Savely, a nurse practioner in Austin who treats a majority of these patients. Patients get lesions that never heal. "Sometimes little black specks that... |

Rolf A. F. Witzsche, is an independent researcher, publisher, and author of eleven novels. The novels are focused on exploring the Principle of Universal Love, the principle that is reflected to some degree in every bright period throughout history with the added challenge for today to give our universal love an active expression in a type of ' Universal Kiss' for all mankind. *sigh*
So, where is the microspecular or AIR FTIR's on these?
So, no one has even applied 1980's technology, they just test it on .999 silver coins?
This is why there is Peer Review.(So the "Establishment" can suppress the truth, I suppose)?
This saddens and disappoints me.
We have enough trouble on Earth without making up new ones-And not very well, either. This is rolling Science back to alchemy.
