Here's the place to post your pet peeves! Here are mine:
1. Liberals, lawyers, hypocrites, etc...wait, this list is getting redundant!
2. People who pronounce water as "wooter" and wash as "warsh", and strength/length as "strenth/lenth". So basically, people with Baltimore accents
3. Walking down a crowded hallway in school and the idiot in front of you stops and turns around
4. When people refer to the Czech Republic as just "Czech", or say "Slovakian" instead of the correct adjective, Slovak
5. Alarm clocks
6. People who whine. Oh wait, I already said liberals
7. Anti-war whackos, animal rights whackos, enviro-whackos...
8. School pictures
9. When my mom drags me off to visit her cousins and everyone always says "Oh, look how much you've grown!" Geez that is annoying...
10. Little dogs
The only regionalism I hear is "Hon".

Raise a chihuahua like a dog, it'll behave like a dog. Raise it like a spoiled child, it'll behave like a spoiled child. I'm not a fan of the breed myself, but I've met a respectable chihuahua or two.

Actually, I have a Tony Almeida Pet Peeve.
We are just finishing up with Season 2. WHYYY in the name of G-d did they put so much eyeliner on the guy in that season? He's getting all mushy with Reiko and his eyes are way more made up than hers. He reminded me of that crazy doctor on Lost in Space! It was very distracting.

21. When people call people from Belarus "Belarusians". They're BELORUSSIANS! And I hate it when people spell Belorussian with an a instead of an o.

22. This new rage over silver electronics. People think they look cool or something, but the black ones actually looked better.
24. When people call the SAT the "SATs"...it's not plural.
25. When people refer to the font Times New Roman as "New Times Roman". I mean, geez you use it all the time, you'd think they'd know the name of it by now...
1. Traffic Jams caused by gawkers. You're on the highway...suddenly traffic slows from 70 MPH to a screeching halt. You sit...and at 3 MPH finally exit the jam. Suddenly, you see the cause: There's an accident on the OTHER DAMN SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY and a-holes are slowing down to stare at it. You'd think they were asking the cops to bring the car parts and bodies closer so they can get a closer look. I have to get to work morons, it's not like you've never seen a wrecked car before.
2. People (and I do this too I'll admit) who use the name of the restaurant as the name of the food - ex: "I had Wendy's for lunch." No, you had food from Wendy's. You didn't eat the brick and mortar of the building, or perform some type of lewd act on Dave Thomas' daughter.
