I'm a Texan that lives in San Diego county, I'm up because Friday night is a beer and FR night.
Have you seen the movie, Lost in Translation, about Americans visiting Japan. I liked that movie, very funny at times. There's one scene where Bill Murray is filming a commercial and the Japanese director talks to him for about a minute, then the translator translates one minute of Japanese into five seconds of English. Bill responds by saying something like..."Oh really, I thought he said quite a bit more than that." It's subtle but very funny at times.

They prefer clean cars. I mean REALLY clean cars. Every one of them. I see mostly Toyotas and now I see the sarcasm of your response. Pretty good there, ansell2. I used to work with a guy Jay Ansell but he wasn't very interested in clean cars. He was hell on wheels in the French Quarter. If you are he, private email me cause I've got something to tell you.

I'm up and checking to see if the world is still spinning. Lily, my Siamese cat, is waving a paw in my face, telling me not to go to work...I'm not. The six mini dachshunds are under the blankets, fast asleep. As soon as I eat anything, they'll wake up and demand half. If I'd had five Asahis, I'd be dead to the world...and I like Japan and donate to FR, too.
