Thanks for posting from Kansas. I used to get to Kansas City quite a bit as a young man. And St Joseph, MO. Used to go to a steakhouse near the stockyards. You could get a "New York Strip Steak" (No Kansas City strip steaks in Kansas, by the way) and a couple of Coors for about two dollars.

I'm convinced this lifestyle in my youth contributed heavily to my heart disease. Of course, those damn cigarettes didn't help at all. You know, about three weeks before my bypass surgery, I told my wife that I wasn't feeling myself. I quit the cigarettes cold turkey three weeks before surgery. Damn those poison sticks. Damn them forever.

Of course, I still like a nice cigar every now and then....
