It's a hawk anti aircraft missile. That's what I did in the army.

When I first saw the missle on your homepage, I thought it was a shrike. But I had a Hawk model from Rydel when I was a kid and I really should have remembered the missle. They in service any part of the world?

Nice state, Wyoming. I've driven many times from Denver up to Laramee thru the high chapparal and a very nice small post office in Tie Siding. Use to hunt antelope near the Montana border, near the Bear Tooth Gap. Horsebacked in and the Winchester 308 downed a few, from a good distance.

Both sides of my family are from northern Wyoming. I don't know that part as well as central, but pretty well. Beautiful part of the state, and a well-kept secret, since the interstate doesn't pass through there.

I'm up, working the 7pm to 7am (EDT) shift.

Thanks for posting.

I grew up on a farm in western New York State. We used to ferment apples into hard cider and then distill into applejack. Not many people know distilled cidar is applejack but many know distilled wine as brandy.

Anyhow, whenever my Dad (God rest his soul; he was in the South Pacific) poured an applejack, he'd say "Straight Vermont".

When I was in Singapore, I had some scallops on the shell. First time raw scallops. Pretty sweet

One of my favorites is something they typically call a Honeymoon Special - raw scallops in a mayo type sauce with flying fish roe. Delicious!

Night shift peep here in DFW, TX.

Thanks for checking in. Sorry about the lateness of response. I got caught up in business and didn't have the time to access FR. I was in Dallas last November and stayed at a nice hotel downtown. From my room, I could look down on THE plaza. Maybe it was the Hyatt. I seem to recall green flourescent lights around it's girth.

I was hoping you were a sushi chief, so then I could fly to your establishment, and hit you up for the 'obligatory' 50 piece 'Fellow Freeper' complimentary dinner. :)

I'll take you up on that in December

Wisconsin checking in. What am I doing up at this hour? News travels slow around these parts, we're still waiting for Bush's election results (IMO, that Clinton clown doesn't stand a chance). Whereever all you Freepers are, it's a brand new day, let's make it something special!

Thanks for checking in. I used to travel up from Chicago to Milwaukee and eat at Carl Ratches. A nice Sunday brunch with a four-piece string section.

Thank you. So far the Keywords on the post are:

5ASAHIS; ALLTHELONELYPEOPLE; DLUNKFLEEPER; DRUNKASHELL; FR; GAIJINUNITED; HIC; IMSORONERY; JAPAN; NIGHTOWLS; WENEEDKEYWORDPOLICE; ZUBENELGENUBI;

And I only did "Japan". The one I like best is DLUNKFLEEPER. Combines nicely my attitude at the time of posting with the Oriental mindset. Really quite good.
