Why was it nessecary to identify yourself as a log cabin republican? I mean people don't say..." Excuse me I am a left handed butt wiper, may I post here?" I think most people on this forum would rather NOT know what and who people are that are here to post. Your identifying yourself shows a certain intent on your part that I don't believe is welcomed here.

Okay, my daughter is gay...she's a republican and finds it difficult to find a home. I have a friend that is COMPLETELY conservative, who happens to be gay, who is as socially and fiscally conserative as many on this forum so I would think that unless folks know what they are talking about they should welcome people with the same political slant as them. On the other hand, please dont try to force an AGENDA down my throat. I'm not Cher. My vote is to welcome LCR to this forum (unless you plan to engage in intercourse right here)
They are endorsed by LCR. They are not conservatives.
I doubt that you are legit. But let's say your are. Why put your sexuality up front and center? Nobody cares about that. If you kept it to yourself there would be no problem. But now you'll have to change your nic.
I once had an excellent bit of coordination with a Log Cabin guy regarding Fidel Castro's potential attendance at the WTO in Seattle. We orgainzed a few hundred local protesters to stand by in case he came, got press to cover our objections, and we were part of the reason Fidel canceled.
There are times we'll agree, and others we'll disagree. If you can stand the heat on the disagreements, I'd say, "welcome."
Give it a try. I'll bet you can figure out what kind of chat is acceptable and what will get you a zot.
Mr. Belvedere, conservatives don't segregate. You are a human being first, you are likely an American, and hopefully you are a conservative. If not, you likely won't last long.
