On Sunday my husband decided to watch a PBS program he'd taped...on Walter Cronkite. I was sitting here at the 'puter, catching up, when he started it and grinned, saying "one of your favorite characters!" He was sarcastic, of couse, and I replied " Yeah, right up there after Jimmy Carter!"
Well, no sooner where those words out of my mouth, when there on the tape was Jimmy commenting on what a fine fellow and honorable man and great newsman was Walter!
My husband and I just burst out laughing!!

Morning everyone! It sure is hot today. I failed to water the plants in planter boxes yesterday so I got to work late since I had to water them this morning!
Cousin just e-mailed me they are definitely coming on Sunday so the boys can see the house for their stay later this month. Oh boy! Twp 20 year olds.... this place is certainly going to be different!
I did not know that cheese is a vegetable. I always thought of it as protein.
Two dogs down, as far as baths, and one to go. In this heat the outside water is quite warm so no need for a bathtub. After that 4 cats, two of which do not like baths.

I'm guessing that the muffins will be somewhat like zuchinni bread...which I make and like. Anyway, I got curious about the whole thing....and I am now making 1/2 of the recipe into bite size muffins. If I'm not on the thread later, you'll know the hospital that put out the recipe is using them to recruit patients.

Bathing cats?????? Mine would bnever allow it! the dogs are ok with it, although they try to weasel out of it at times. We do it in tandem with grooming them.
