Its time to celebrate our great nation's independence yet again. Hopefully we will all take a few moments to reflect on how far we have come since our country was founded, the freedoms we hold so dear, and how thankful we are to live in the land of the free.
What are some memorable 4th of July vacations or events that you have enjoyed?
Where are you planning on travelling, and what are you planning on doing for the 4th of July this year?

Got Waterworld running...turned the sound off...let me go put on a polo shirt...could someone find me some awful 90's songs?
Pretty soon, it'll be just like I'm back at work.

Well, I was steamed earlier after wasting the night watching the Indians blow a 7-0 lead and lose, but I'm cooled down now, just listening to music and browsing FR.

There are a lot of awful 90s songs, where should we start?

Milwaukee lost to the Twins 8-2.
Figures. Back under .500--5 games behind St. Louis and 4.5 behind Cincinnati.
OTOH, we're still third in the NL Central--and doing better than Houston (ahead by a game and a half), Chicago (ahead by 10 games), and Pittsburgh (ahead by 13 games)

Spice Girls "Tell me what you want" and Britney's "Hit me Baby"...I have to hear those all the time.

Indians are on the downslopes, and going further down. I'm going to stop going out to watch them, or just watch whatever other games are on TV here.

At least it isn't as bad as that Celine Dion song from Titanic and "Barbie Girl" (though listening to it in German and Russian is quite funny. For a little while...)
Unnnngh!!

Another two artists I'd add are N-stink and the Backsleet boys...
I can't figure out how anyone can listen to 90's pop without losing every scintilla of sanity...

Have you seen the movie Office Space? If not, I think you'd get a kick out of it.
