Patsy Ramsey, mother of JonBenet dies of ovarian cancer

According to Fox News, Patsy Ramsey, mother of Jonbenet Ramsey has passed away from ovarian cancer.

As a former pageant contestant, I agree with y'all two. It's freakish and disgusting. (And I wasn't even involved in them until college.)

That's you. Unfortunately, this guy had a business, with people lives and jobs depending on it. He thought this was the best way to go. Still, doesn't mean he's guilty.

ALthough I never thought Mrs. Ramsey was guilty of killing her daughter, I did think she was guilty of withholding evidence. I think their son, Burke, accidentally choked Jon Bonet to death. I don't know what they were doing, but it involved her being stunned with a Stun Gun, and then being choking.

My opinion, the parents thought they were doing the best under the circumstances. Nothing could bring back their daughter, but they could lie to protect their son. ANd that is what I think they did.

Time will tell, I am sure.

I think people judged her solely on having money and being involved in the pagents.

A little older than the girl....something about the investigation and confusion about where the boy was, what the parents would say about him....just a number of things that led me to believe something wasn't right about the investigation of the son....more than one person was protecting him from scrutiny...

He passed away yesterday but at least he had a long life. I rarely watch network television and can't name a single show I watch, network, all the time.

I do remember watching a few of the shows he created.

They did not hire a PR firm, and they did not call the police, despite what Hildy said. They first called their attorney. They also refused to cooperate with authorities. The "ransom note" was written in a handwriting suspiciously similiar to Patsy's. There were no actual signs of an outside intruder.

If John and Patsy Ramsey did not kill JonBenet, then she is still alive.

It's a sound theory - sibling rivalry. Just don't know if he was strong enough to tie her up like that or would know to do it. As an adult, I didn't know about that method till the little girls murder.

Well, we may never know. It's someones secret.

The biggest question to me is who left the DNA found under JonBenet's fingernails that was not consistent with anyone in the home, not the father, mother or brother.

I agree, Miz. If anyone wants a "reasonable doubt" alternative, please see the case of the Dowaliby family from suburban Chicago early 90's. Nothing like crucifying the parents of a murdered child...Richard Daley would not be Mayor if he hadn't railroaded that poor family. Shame on the "legal eagles" and the press who hounded Mrs. Ramsey and her husband in such a despicable manner.

They are not a strange family. They are a very normal family who worked hard and made some money the good old American way- they earned it. Tragedy can strike any of us at any time. And ,yes, I do know the family. No one in that family is capable of murder.
