I personally do not believe they were involved in her death. Yet, if she was, she is now receiving her just punishment.

If she was not involved, I hope her and her daughter are now reunited.

She knew. It was the son.. the dilemma of losing one child and the agony of knowing the other one did it, and not being able to resolve it.

Fox says ovarian as does the Dallas Morning News. Maybe CBS forged her not-yet-performed autopsy report?

I agree. And I also disagree about pageants. My stepdaughter was involved in these pageants and she grew up to be a beautifu, confident girl who carries herself well and is comfortable in all social settings. She credits the pageants for that. She stopped when she was 16.

IF she had anything to confess. The investigation was one of the worst I've seen, yet the evidence they did have exonerated both parents. Please go dance on someone else's grave.

I pray all those facing death make a good confession to their savior and receive forgiveness for their sins.

I'll be the first to say I never thought she did it.

I sorta figured it was her son. Sibling rivalry is the oldest cause of murder in the Book...

The media did their best to paint her as a "Mommy Dearest" kind of person. Interviews I've seen long after the investigation was over showed a very different lady than what the media portrayed.

That's the first thing I thought as well...meaning it was the first thing (or second) the police thought. If there was enough evidence it was the son, I don't think any amount of money could have kept him from at least being arrested, which he wasn't.

And I also disagree about pageants.

Sorry, the idea of 6 year old girls parading in heavy makeup and dresses is repulsive, IMO.

There are better ways for girls to achieve self-esteem than beauty pageants.

It's possible the cancer had spread to her brain and that was the one that killed her.

Don't know, just saying it is not unusual for a secondary site to be the one that ends a life. Actually, she probably had many sites where the cancer had spread.

I always believed that the killer entered the house while they were out and hid until they went to sleep.
The Boulder Police Dept totally screwed up this investigation.
I hope someday someone is able to crack this case.

I'll be the first to say I never thought she did it. RIP, Ms. Ramsey.

There's one thing, and *only* one thing,of which I'm certain...and that is that at least one of two,at the very least, had an idea of what happened. It could well be that neither of them "did it",but the first thing you do after discovering that your daughter has been killed,in your home,is *not* to hire a PR firm.

We'll disagree. How about children in movies? Or TV?

The co-conspirator for the death of the poor daughter is now gone to her just reward.

I respectfully disagree. If, and it is a big 'If', her son murdered her daughter, it would not be totally out of the realm of human experience for her to lie to protect her son.

JonBenet was her rice-bowl. One does not break their own rice-bowl...

This is a solemn occasion and we shouldn't be picking on the Marx Brothers! Maybe Grouch's duck could have whispered something in the Boulder Police ears but they didn't know the magic word!!

Check it out right here. I had posted it after your story, but asked the mods to remove it. (No need for two threads on the topic.) CBS really goofed on this one, I think.

I agree - I always thought it was JonBenet's older brother, and the parents couldn't bring themselves to admit it.
