I dont get it. I keep hearing from people that welfare is immoral and wasteful when it helps so many people who would die without it. I also hear some of them talking about giving money to charities such as the salvation army and the like. Everyone has a right to live, that means the right to freedom, a job, a car and a home. No one should be forced to live without any of those. I was homeless for a year before a went on welfare. They helped me get a job and a home and I dont need it anymore! How can you be against somthing thats so good and useful? WOuld you rather the poor just starve to death and die here in America like they do in Africa?
"what does Ibtz mean?"
In Before The Zot

"Why bother giving to charity programs then if your against welfare? Its just the same thing isn't it?"

Wasn't that in the Declaration of Independence?
Your already banned but I will respond anyway.
Welfare is a method used by the government to take away from those who produce and give it to those who do not.
There is a difference between giving a hand up and a hand out. Just look at what happened with the FEMA cards for Kitrina.
These were cards that where just given out and could be used for anything, and they were abused...duh.
Welfare is a hand out that is often abused. It is forced on the taxpayer who in turn has very little control over how it is managed. If it is mismanaged the taxpayer has no recource to correct it other than their one vote.
Charity is something that is given willfully to an organization that uses it to give aid. If the person does not like how the charity is using the money then they have the option to stop giving to that charity.
This gives the charity a vested interest in not mismanaging the money.
And here I am paying for Satellite TV. My wife is right, I am a chump.
My error.
Too pissed to think of the correct document.
Thanks for the new tagline
96.4 people out of 100 are working and you are looking for your neightbors to give you a car and a home and a job!
Loser!! Those that want to work are working!
It means you are a loser.
