Internet Dating:

Meeting the Parents:

Now, for some fun questions to kick off tonight’s thread!

1. Have you been on a date with someone you met on the Internet?
2. Did the date go well? Did a relationship result?
3. Did you meet them on a dating site or elsewhere? Was it totally by accident or chance?
4. Do you have a funny, gross, scary, or otherwise entertaining internet dating story to share? Either one that happened to you, or someone you know.
5. Any funny or interesting “meeting the parents” stories?
6. Has meeting the parents ever caused a breakup?
7. And, finally, have you ever set up a “backup” scenario to get out of a potentially bad date?

Oh, those things are nice. I had my first experience with them In Stratford Ont.. a very classy(and pricey) Bed N Breakfast that we stayed at each time we were there. The upper areas did NOT have central air & so these units were life savers.

Dial up.

Sometimes wireless, but not tonight. Power outages as some major thunder storms have pushed through the area.

I got a solid 49 seconds of rain about an hour and a half ago. Winds are calm.

9 miles to the south, torrential downpour, large hail, 65 MPH winds, homes without roofs and yards without trees.

Mine rolls around too. (note the wheels on the bottom) but it's got that big tail that has to hang out the window.

We need rain here too. Seems like feast or famine. Days of heavy rain .. then double the amount of dry. I have been watering the plants every day (don't want to lose my flowres & new veggie garden) . Tomorrow I start on lawn

I'm going to have to clean up after my dog...I got a package today, and he demanded the box when I was done opening it...so now the floor is sprinkled with little chewed up bits of cardboard.

Aren't they "cute".

Mine does more chewing when they haven't run enough. But somethings are irresistible even when they are worn out.

for some reason Josy likes to shred plastic containers(the Styrofoam type)
