Early in the Duke lacrosse rape investigation, Durham District Attorney Mike Nifong, who was in a close race to keep his job, spoke about the physical and emotional trauma the alleged victim had suffered at the hands of the players. A police affidavit stated that her medical records revealed the victim had "injuries consistent with being raped and sexually assaulted vaginally and anally." But according to a motion filed by defense attorneys last week, no such physical trauma was found during her exam at Duke hospital. Quoting from the report, which was submitted to the court under seal, the motion states that the nurse—who was in training—examined the woman's entire pelvic region and noted only diffuse swelling of the vaginal walls, a condition explainable by consensual sexual activity.
Police documents indicate that the accuser had in fact engaged in such activity in the days leading up to the incident. The accuser told police that she'd had sex with her boyfriend a week before. She added that she'd also performed using a vibrator in front of a couple. (Though the timing of this incident is not specific, the clear implication is that it had happened near the time of the lacrosse party.) And, according to defense attorneys, the boyfriend's seminal fluid was found in her, suggesting she'd also had sex with him within 72 hours. Jarriel Johnson, who identified himself as the woman's driver, told police in a statement that in addition to sleeping with the accuser himself a week prior to the party, he'd taken her to several appointments at hotels in the days before.

I guess my thought is: If we KNOW that he picked this up "Personally", did he also pick up the SANE report personally? and....."Did he read it and make her re-write it to suit him? Is Crystal's signature on their anyplace and/or witness signatures? A trainee might just be talked into a minor revision to suit the DA....a legal expert. It would be a perfect forgery........

Mind you, I don't put anything past Nifong, but I don't think he would succeed in altering a report from the hospital. He was posturing big time for the press....sign of a very little man who wanted/needed/craved the attention for his big case....and election victory.
The talking heads NEVER connect the dots. They simple will now or are not capable of linking a fact learned one day to a fact learned another day, and piecing together the story. It's always a "here and now" separate item left to stand alone. They miss more than they catch.
It sounds like this governor has his head up his ass like most Rats looking for money and the hustle. I doubt that he cares a lick about this case. I would be shocked if he or the state's AG did anything about this.
But you make a good point. Blacks aren't going to abandon the plantation, but some whites might.
Clark is retired, and he has no knowledge about this case whatsoever. I fault the host for having people on just to blow smoke. It's insulting to us for the host to believe that the viewers would be taken in by somebody who doesn't know the case and is just running his or her mouth to present "balance." Some things are just not balanced, and when you try to make it appear that way, it's a distortion.
It's also been reported that there's a big lax poster in the lax party house living room where this all supposedly happened.
But the most important thing it supposes is that these guys don't have a Fifth Amendment right not to talk to the cops. It's an outrageous position to take.

That statement was made before she got a lawyer (the same lawyer advising the AV's family). We have to be accomodating. Why shouldn't she profit from this whole thing?

That's not where she called it a CROC. A detective spoke to her and in his report notes he annotated she told him that.
Nancy Grace said late last week she gave a multi-page statement to them and in THAT statement she says she was alone in her car for 25 minutes with Crytal being inside the house during that time.
What a coincidence. Her lawyer is advising both the AV family and Kim and her story now accomodates plenty of time for the event to have occured.
Yeah these people sure get "squeamish" about medical reports. Posters have referred to the Bryant case and Wendy Murphy's "ripped vagina" comment, and I remember Rita Cosby swooning over "semen in he panties." And now that there is a possibility that the A/V might be a hooker pogo sticking for money, they get "uncomfortable."
What is left for him to 'investigate'? This job should not be a 24/365 one....Of course, he COULD check the credibility of the false accuser.
Would you believe millions. Those non-indicted have spend several thousand. You have to understand how devastating this really is. I know you are all bummed out over the coverage of this case on cable news, but it is all that is standing between three young men and a lynch mob and total financial ruin for three sets of parents, possibly grandparents and siblings who are sitting ducks with no one else to turn to. Never again on my watch -- been there, seen it, lived it, paying for it, no other woman's son while I'm alive and breathing.
