The woman who has accused three Duke University men's lacrosse players of raping her failed to identify at least one of them in a photo array eight days after the reported attack, according to a motion filed Friday by defense attorneys. The motion also says that she then selected him as an attacker more than two weeks later.

NiFong and the judge must know who the "true owner" of the phone is since it was apparently shut off the next day. How did they know that? The only way they could know that was by using it or someone telling them.
So when did Crystal even realize that the phone was missing?? Did she call her pimp to say she lost it?? WHO shut the phone service down??
I guess I'm thinking about Crystal calling for directions to the place. That's a very "stupid" phone call to the escort service. So a "bathroom call" for "what should I do?...they don't want to pay us"... is hardly out of the question....especially since she apparently left right after getting out of the bathroom.
you can sue in federal court if the people involved are from different states and more than 75,000 is at issue in addition to bringing federal claims.
N&O is invested in this story and they are in too deep, done and said too much to change the spin now. It is very much in their interest that the spin be kept up in favor of the AV fairy tale, or that the story just go away. There is just too much ground they'd have to cover if they start backpeddling.
It was reported earlier that she had called her dad for directions and again to let him know she was there. Why didn't she ask for directions from the person who was calling her?

Given the loose reigns on attorneys in North Carolina, it would be near impossible, if not totally so, to get anywhere with such a lawsuit.

I wouldn't doubt it. The defense has proably filled her in on what their investigators know.
1) Why doesn't the driver want his picture in the paper or on TV?
Maybe he has commited crimes and doesn't want any of his victims to reconizing him.
2) Why did he refuse to answer questions whether they were drinking or getting high?

They made a big deal out of the fact that the Driver says he left at 10:45 for the party. In fact, the article says he "estimated" they left at 10:45 for the party. On Hannity, NO mention was made that the Driver said that the AV RECEIVED two calls, while they were lost and looking for the location, and saying the job would be canceled if she did not get there soon.
So they want us to belive they left at 10:45 but were reciving calls saying the job would be canceled if they didn't who up soon. No wonder the police and Nifong didn't check the phone records.

That's what the hell I want to know. She "works" at odd hours for short amounts of time. Dropping off and pick up her kids at all hours of the day. Yeah that is why we have all been calling him the "driver" for weeks. It's funny I think the MSM actually started it calling the FA a "exotic dancer", quoted in the papers. We have also called her a "striper" and a "escort". But we all know what she really is. ;)

Well like it or not he is now known to the police. But I guess he might want to keep his picture out of the papers just in case he decides to relocate and set up shop in another town. But I still think he might have committed other crimes and doesn't want anyone out there recognizing him and turning him in.
