LOS ANGELES (AP) Brad Pitt's publicist says Angelina Jolie has given birth in Africa.
Congratulations! It's a Baby Lip!
but the little darling can now, never be President
Now, I am not a fan of McCain (and that is a GROSS understatement) but wasn't he born on a base or other soil considered U.S. soil in Panama? That would make him eligible via the birth issue.
Other than that, I don't think children of American parents born overseas are eligible. I'm sure someone will correct if I am wrong, and I hope that happens in case my understanding is mistaken.
Well, thank God, the kid can't be President. (At least not yet.)
This child will be fawned over by the media for the next 75 years, as it grows up to mirror mom and dad's views and worse.
Your children will grow up and die while this child puts pressure on a system that is hell bent to put them into subservience.
You'll have to pardon me for realizing this is a non-event. It's just the media's way of welcoming in the latest person who will front for them in the decades to come.
As such, I find nothing to celebrate here.
These folks are simply too strange.
So many looks, so little brains.
I agree. Why don't we forward this story to a democrats forum. I'm sure they will put it on priority.
After downloading a tricycle motor in Africa, the question is:Will she stay there?
Well la dee freakin' da!
Oh yeah - this kid will be in therapy for sure.
Gotta love that hyphenated last name too, and he isn't even a day old yet.
Are you really that ignorant? Both parents are American citizens. As trivial as this post is, you are a great illustration of the lack of education in this country.
I didn't know Brad Pitt or Jolie was in the military...
LOL Good one!
Ahh, I thought it only applied to members of the military...
Any children born to American parents are "natural-born citizens". Place of birth is irrelevent. Did everyone on this board fail civics class? ;-)
It's not that I disagree with much of what you just said, perhaps the negativity ravaging FR lately is just getting to me.
I wish her well, as I am sure you do too. She is being born into much opportunity, and I am sure we all wish her well on that journey, including realizing that her parents are politically-challenged.
I guess so.. I thought that only applied to members of the military.
I was born on a U.S. Army base in Germany. Because my Dad was born and raised in the U.S. and my Mom by that time had become a naturalized U.S. Citizen, I am a U.S. Citizen.
