Why am I not suprised at any of this
I wish the investigation would just drop the Duke students entirely. Just arrest Nifong and the woman and investigate the hck out of them for the next couple of years.
Time to prosecute the dancer, Nifong, and time to begin restoring the reputations of these boys.
Hard lessons need to be taught in this case in order to avoid future political witch hunts.
The real reason for the delay in the trail start is to put distance between the publicity and the inevitable loss for the prosecution. Nifong is playing this to the hilt for his political advantage. In a just world he should be recalled and disbarred instead of being part of "OJ Justice II."
Memo to D.A. Nifong regarding your wish to try them together:
Wish in one hand and spit in the other and see which hand gets full first! This fool knows he doesn't even have a case but continues to make himself look stupid! Why?
If you book an exotic dancer, make sure she's white.
Not only was she completely trashed and changed her story multiple times, there is no way possible that the attending physician would have failed to spot physical signs on her body if any of these events had really happened.
I've been saying since the beginning that this entire thing was a hoax and I still stick to that. It's not only an election-year race card ploy, it's a witch hunt against three young men with no proof whatsoever they attacked her.
Oh what a tangled web we weave...
Sad to say, but this doesn't surprise me.
Thought you might be interested in this, Alia.
Have you been watching Dab Abrams on MSNBC go nuts over this? That prosecutor better have a smoking gun that he is unlawfully withholding or he needs to drop this crap now.
Duke LAX ping.
History repeats itself because people don't change.
I keep thinking of a Howard Stern song parody, "The Brawley Bunch"..
Bathroom or bedroom? From another report:
"Within a few minutes, I was told that she told the [doctor] that she had been raped? I returned? and asked her if she had or had not been raped. She told me she did not want to talk to me anymore and then started crying and saying something about them dragging her into the bedroom."
This is kind of important, yes? You'd think the'd get it right. Really ticks me off.
The reputations of these boys will be helped by their part of the $Billions in settlements that will be awarded after the civil suits run their course.
What! Along with the harrassment of the cabbie and the dropping of the bond for Lil' Kim on the day she changed her testimony, this latest incompetence/malfeasance in breathtaking.

BOSTON - The Duke womens lacrosse team couldnt win the NCAA title its troubled mens counterpart never got a chance to play for.
Adopting the mens motto of No Excuses, No Regrets and writing on wristbands the numbers of three indicted classmates, the Blue Devils lost 11-10 to Northwestern in overtime in the national semifinal.
Coach Kerstin Kimel broke into tears after Friday nights game when describing the siege her players have faced since the mens season was scuttled amid charges of rape and racism.
When theres a void in our everyday lives at Duke, which there was, its not easy, Kimel said. Myself and the players, we had to shelve a lot of emotion all season long. To their credit, they used that emotion to get us where weve taken our team.
Three Duke lacrosse players - Reade Seligmann, Collin Finnerty, and co-captain David Evans - have been charged with raping a woman hired to strip at a team party in March. In the aftermath of the accusations - and claims that the players, who are white, shouted racist taunts at the black woman - the university canceled the rest of the highly ranked teams season, and coach Mike Pressler resigned.
The players attorney has insisted they are innocent. But reports that the womens lacrosse team would wear headbands that said Innocent became a flash point in the world of womens lacrosse and the Duke community.
Instead, about 10 Blue Devils wore wristbands that said 45 13 6 - the uniform numbers of the three accused men. Other players wore wrist and headbands with the mens logo.
