This weekend in America is Memorial Weekend a time when Americans honour their military dead.
I am so glad, too. My department at work is a mess...we've been buried alive in junk we don't have time to do.
The other guys can worry about it; I ain't gonna' be there!

My mother always used to tell the story of how my brother, then aged 2, once ate one of my dad's cigars. Of course he was in a terrible state, but the doctor told my mother--and you know they would never do this nowadays--to give him a glass of whiskey and let him sleep it off. He woke up almost a day later, but was fine.

Snugs.. YES Ma'am! Let's go for Monday. Anytime we have a LONG weekend we can plan to open the doors for whomever might be around. Let's remember this thread is about friendship & support. Not everyone has lots of buddies & activities & this group & YOU might be their connections with a better and happier life. Isn't that nice? Yes, it is!
I need to address a few things on the home front before I post again or check email/FReepmail...& MIGHT OR MIGHT NOT check out all the email & FReepmail from you tonight.
I respect you all & your opinions. I hope you know that. We are ALL on the same team of life & conservativism. Yes, for sure a continuum exists.. but we are RIGHT.. not left(out).
The bumps that have occurred recently, will smooth out. The majority of good people here will decide what is best.
I am grateful and feel very priviledged to know you all - yes, there are geographic, age, interest differences but that all pales when one looks at the big picture.

What awful troll experience?
A troll showed up on someone's thread and because it was so late, he managed to stay on for about a half hour and make several posts before we finally got him terminated.
He was a complete butthole, too.
LOL, it eventually came off with sandpaper.
Have there been bumps around here?
