Almost all the river runs I do are along a golf course.. on the steep banks & in shallow water are golf balls. My biggest "take" one afternoon was 94 balls.
Oliver used to find various treasures.. animal skulls etc.
When I got my first kayak, I did NOT do much research. Just wanted on big enough for my granddaughter (who lives in NC and has never gotten into kayak).
I never wanted or looked for a dog. They are all rescues & really have been gifts from God in so many ways. I still have my cats also.
the dogs I have are ideal for the outdoorsy things I do. I little poodle or fluffy "whatever" would probably not work out with my activities

HCl is hydrochloric acid (used to dissolve steel), HF is hydrofluoric acid, which is used to dissolve silica from the steel residue. HF is also used to etch glass, it is really nasty stuff. It attacks calcium (bone, finger nails, etc), so you have to be very careful using it. I will have others helping me with the HF, and will be 'well dressed' for it!!
Fortunately, with poli sci, I'm not likely to get injured
So long as you stay away from all those liberal peace activist types. Things tend to get kind of violent at their protests.

Heard of Rory McLeod and Oysterband.
I like rock folk in particular Fairport Convention which one of their tracks I posted earlier.
I also like Richard Thompson

Wow. I don't do very well with science things. I got those courses out of the way early on and haven't looked at it since.
Oh, I like to argue with them. It's funny.

If you're poly-sci and remember that much, that is really impressive! I tend to forget things from lectures rather quickly.
So is the precipitate being measured in milliters or in moles?
It will be measured as a weight percent, to see how the actual amount compares to the theoretical amount based on calculations. Also, to see how much has formed a precipitate.
I am having
Inductively Coupled Plasma analysis done on my samples to determine this, but this will be done at another lab.

Everytime I hear Cliff Richard, I think of Rik's adulation of him in The Young Ones :-)

Engineering isn't so 'science-y' as it is applying science. I really struggle with lots of the very abstract concepts, especially with chemistry related things! Thermodynamics, which I'll have the pleasure of re-taking (again) is not a favorite.

Any more, I don't. Listening to their garbage does nothing good for me, and I don't care to hear any of it. Moderates & libertarians are fine, but I can't see how people are totally oblivious to the obvious failures of socialist fiscal policy. /end rant :-)

I first came across YO when I visited England in '84. They were certainly anarchic. But I have to admit, the 'Bambi' episode where Vyvyan got his head ripped off by the train had my friends and I falling on the floor laughing, because we were constantly seeing that sign on all the Brit Rail trains we were riding.

I would really like to get a dog at school, but simply can't. Here is my baby Charlie, logging onto FR at home. I really wish he could be at school with me!!
Been thinking about getting a cat, just so I could name it 'Viking'!
