I am going out Sunday after church. Taking a friend. I have two kayaks. Will be the maiden "voyage" also for my two pooches, Toby & Josy.
Oliver always kayaked with me, but I never got to take Toby out (got him last Labor day) while Oliver was living to "teach him the ropes".. so I will have two young dogs ... and big ones.. for first outing.
the dogs spend most of time running shore & swimming. Oliver would come to kayak & hit the sides with his paws when he was tired & needed to ride (that was usually after about 4 or more hours)

Still trying for July 20th...;)
Put in for off right away--and trying to do my homework...;)
More than likely, I'm going to end up staying up north and then driving back down the next day...;)

The Blairs & Bushes have become very close friends. Once they both leave office I feel certain they will get together several times a year in Texas & in england ..

Can't imagine paddling with two big dogs like that.
We went downstream, but balanced by a good headwind. I tried re-fitting my seat, my sciatic nerve always gets pinched and my left leg falls asleep every time. Still need to play around with it a little bit.
May go out for a quick paddle this weekend, we'll see. No playing with the ice this spring, oh well!

Sounds good. If I'm not put in Group B, I'll twist a couple arms and get that changed ;)

I'm doing great! School has been going pretty well, though today I was really tired. I need to do a couple things in the lab in a little bit, I am playing with dissolved steel. Fun stuff!!

Great to see partner - thanks for your music suggestions and the info you found on the 21 gun salute and the wonderful Iraq photos.
Hope you like the tracks I choose

I am in & out of the kayak a lot (like to scavenge the shores) so I don't have the sciatia problems .. well, I do but not from Kayaking... my back would be terrible to be in the kayak for that many hours.
My kayak has held successfully one dog. Might need to get a bigger one. I have a Perception "swifty" & Old Town "otter" - both red & they are very similar in shape, draft etc.
