They sell lowest quality crap for dirt cheap.
Years ago retailers were ashamed to sell such shlock, and US manufacturers were to proud to make such crap.
But Wal-Mart, which made itself a success by selling only "Made in America", years ago now has sold it's soul for slave made junk which is subsidized by the plantation masters, the Chinese government.
My family avoids Wal-Mart whenever possible (and major hardware stores, and other huge box stores that sell such arbage). Yes, we gladly pay more for high quality American products.

Why do people dislike Wal-Mart if it sells things at a reasonable price? Why do you think that they do? What is your theory?

They have the best craft department around...material, good material for $1 and $2.00 a yard....supplies are cheap....they have so much stuff in there, it takes us about 5 hours twice a week to get thru our store....we love it....
I think I own half of it now, in the 15 years I've been shopping there....
People are friendly, they are everyday people like me, they know what is going on in the world, they know how to smile....
If you need to take something back and you don't have a reciept, then they give you a money gram in return...
I have no complaints at all....

The stores are dirty, crowded, and messy, and the aisles are too narrow and very cluttered.
