and let's face it.....the rich and the entitled DO get away with a lot of illegal stuff that most regular people don't.....ala the Kennedy crime syndicate.....
IF Nifong ardently believed that a terrible crime took place, then he could be forgiven his passion.....
but what can't be forgiven is his botching this whole case, making the lives of the players and their families and the vicitm and her family and the whole community miserable and in an uproar.....
he should have pursued a quiet investigation, with proper methods...
he hasn't done that.....thus, he has not given justice to anyone in this case...not victim, nor accused...
if he worried so much about the accused, don't you think a wise man would have warned her how difficult it was going to be to prosecute and that it make take a long time to get all the facts out?
you are the reason I love military people.....true patriots.....
didn't he defend one of the many number groups, like the Chicago seven.....???
also...I remember him doing something about the Warren Report and the assasination of Kennedy, but I'm getting old you see, and things are beginning to blur....LOL
the Ohio State lacrosse team used to go to the ugly tuna saloona every sunday night to sing karoake. After the Duke lacrosse incident, they have been nowhere to be found. I think the coach locked them away in a monastary.
Nifong probably can't be sued.
Geez, what a load of crap.
Both of Nifong's parents attended Duke. He did not. he may definitely have an axe to grind. Maybe he just couldn't get in and has always felt that he didn't measure up to the old man. This is his chance to bitchslap Duke for dissin' him.
Hillsdale in MI.
I have to disagree with you and your dad. My friends and I drank during our college days and after. We weren't loose and we didn't get into trouble.
Either that or he's trying to provoke Nifong into agreeing to the interview, lol!
Tucker Carlson gave the name and badge number of the cop who said it.
It is. Tucker Carlson read it and gave the name and badge number of the cop who said it. It's a done deal.
Michelle Falkland or something like that. She's done well on this case from the beginning.
>>>>I wonder if that "20" is written in an official report.
>>It is. Tucker Carlson read it and gave the name and badge number of the cop who said it. It's a done deal.
The name and badge number of the cop who said this is on the Duke police report from that night, which is now up on Duke's web site. Howlin posted about it in #125, and provided a link to the "Duke and Men's Lacrosse" page where it is at.
Here's a direct link to just the police report. It's a *.pdf that loads "sideways". You'll want to either print it out or figure out how to rotate it 90 degrees in Adobe Reader.
I'm not sure about that I vagely rember a supreme court case a number of years ago maybe 91 or 92 where a proscuter brought charges against someone that turned out to be for purely political advancment reasons and the supreme court said he was not acting in his role as prosacuter for doing that so he had no protections from being personally sued im not sure if that case still stands or not or if it would even apply hear but now i really hope it does
"The Duke rape case is about images and perceptions based on unrealistic expectations of vastly different subcultures. These subcultures are given labels, something to make the images appear to be real and therefore a viable expression of one's self. The labels do little more than conjure up image variations based on intent and motivation; the 'haves,' 'the have nots,' the 'plantation,' the 'black community,' 'privilege,' 'power,' 'stripper,' etc. Just how do you find justice within the judicial system when the real culprits are the often distorted images that have been nurtured by forces that far transcend those who take center stage in the play known as the 'Duke rape case'?"

What on earth did I just read?
This is precisely the reason why we should dread if the liberals ever got power. They believe that the end justifies the means, and that it's ok if justice isn't served, as long as it's about "getting even with whitey."
