This concludes the “Girl Smiling at Freddy” story. If it isn’t clear what’s happening, he’s simply sitting outside at night watching the moon.
After something as goofy as the “Pig Acceptance” story, I kind of wanted to go back and show that the strip was going to retain its original concept, despite taking a sillier and more cartoonish air.

I'm thinking about cutting the posting time to 1, since I'm mostly going to be working second shift. But I have no idea how that would work for everyone else.

Had an okay day at work. So far, day 3 was the best.
My training period is now over. Tomorrow I have to work a long shift, and they're letting me loose on my own. 9-6! ARRGHHH!!!
Another co-worker guarantees me that when I'm on my own it's going to become a horrific nightmare for a few weeks until I get used to it.
Horrific nightmare? Why, exactly?
He said it's not too bad, when you're working with Edith (the Department Head...working with her is training). But according to him, once I'm on my own it's a living Hades. He said they'll be throwing stuff on me I know nothing about. Well, I guess we'll see tomorrow if he's right.
But so far, they love me there. The store manager told me today when he gave me my I.D. Card (I have an ID card now! I'm an ***OFFICIAL*** employee who can clock in now!) that he was hearing nothing but great things about me, that Edith is always talking about how good I am and what a huge help I've been, and from her, that's really something...blah blah blah.
So you got an ID card? OOooooooo! You're a Real Person now!
Yup.
Hate to bail out, but it's pretty late and I've got that pesky long morning shift tomorrow (I originally had the day off--that changed today).
