THE ***OFFICIAL*** (That’s right, OFFICIAL) WEEKEND SINGLES THREAD—APRIL 28 through 30

> > > >

Hello, hello, hello, everybody!!! Welcome to this week’s awesomely spectacular SINGLES THREAD (so awesome, I had to capitalize it), hosted by pcottraux and ilovew!!!

But enough chit chat. Let’s start tripping the light fantastic!!!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Of course, without a few tunes going on, dancing would just be a bad “a cappella” rip off.

Do the Monkey With Me!
Come on!!!

And now to get the ball rolling:

Well, let’s face it. When it comes to the art of conversation, I’m not exactly Picasso. I’m more like Johnny Bravo in that episode where he made butt prints on a canvas.

Hey, how'd you like to watch the show in 3-D, sweet thing?
Say there, pretty air mama, didn't you see me in your dreams last night?
Hey babearilla, that a pretty eensie-weensie, teeny-weenie polka-dot thingy you got going there.
Come and get it, ladies. I'm yours for the takin'!
Hey there, cutie pants!
Hey all you hot mamas. Wanna talk to a steamin' hunk of cyber fella?
Hey there, cutie pants. Am I as studly as the Statue of David, or what?
Oh, baby! I'm going to make your dreams come true!
Hya! Dreamy hunk, right here!
You wanna frisk me?
Wanna get lost with me (whoosh)?
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, let's roll in the hay.
I'm gonna say, 'Hey hot mama, wanna go back to my place for a game of Twister?
Lady: "How many times do I have to tell you I have a boyfriend?!" Johnny: "Well, you look like the kind of girl that could use two."
I bet your name's Mickey, 'cause you're so fine. You're so fine...
Hey there, foxy hygiene girl. (whoosh) I love a babe with minty breath.
All right. I guess that makes me the object of desire, huh baby?
Johnny: "Excuse me, miss." Lady: "(gasp!)" Johnny: "How'd you like to paint the town red with a happenin' hipster?"
Pardon me, hot sexy mama. If you'd please to take a look at my, (whoosh) Hya, studly bod, (whoosh), then I may have the pleasure of you wanting to be my number-one main squeeze.
Hey there, miss. I'm Johnny B. Wanna spend the day with me?
Whoa. Man, you're pretty!
Hey there, Spanish seniorita. Sprechen se love?
Hey there, smart mama.
You smell kinda pretty. Wanna smell me?
Say, how 'bout you and me sharin' a soda right now?
You're steamin' baby! You too. And you. And you, pretty man. Oh man, time flies when you're having fun.
Hello, teen hotline. You're boyfriend left ya'? Why, what are you wearin'?
Wanna do the monkey with me?

So, are we having fun yet? What am I saying…of course we are!!!

AND THE FUN IS JUST GETTING STARTED!!!

Let’s make it a weekend to remember!!!

Yes, but that digestion goes both ways. Think about the things that make you happy in life and focus on that. No more doomsday talk. That's God's job. Let him handle it.

Think about the things that make you happy in life and focus on that.

I have found that work makes me happy, so I focus on my work. A lot of people think I need to be in a relationship in order to be happy, but a person don't need a relationship.

but a person don't need a relationship.

That should read "a person doesn't need a relationship."

You m missed a GODD ETF today, BTW!!

I picked up a Dumont ra-112 19" console tv with continuous tuning and an eye tube!! (for $40)!!

I could had gotten another one like it for the same price, but I don't have room for this one!!

Cool!! Magic Eye tubes are so cool. I have an old piece of TV test equipment called a "Ryder Channelizer" with four Magic Eye tubes on the front. From what little research I've done, it is a piece of TV test equipment, but I don't know how to use it or what for. I just got it from an estate of a "silent key" (ham who passed on) who was also a TV repair guy. I could have scored a Zenith roundie then too (1990), but I didn't (kicking myself in the butt). Back to the Ryder, (saying this with a Jerry Garcia accent), "I plugged it in, turned it on and those Magic Eye tubes glowed, it looked so cool, man." B-D

I'm also the most loyal person to friends that I know. I always wished that I could get a little loyalty back, but now I realize that it is not going to happen.

I am disgusted with just about the entire human race at this point. No, make that well beyond disgusted.

Sounds like you'd make a good "Gen X'er." B-) B-P B-( I've been through a lot of stuff like that myself, perhaps not a bad marriage like you but let's say I've been screwed a lot. I don't know what it is exactly, but as another online role playing gaming friend puts it, "the finger to reboot humanity and civilization is hovering above the button" and another one joked, "yeah, and it is the middle finger too." Maybe the Art Bell types (I'm an Art Bell junky myself) might be a little out there with things like the world ending or changing in 2012 and so on but there is something out there that makes me feel uneasy.

I often feel the same way..

I always seem to see someone else getting my rewards.

I a a LOT more socially conservatie than I am fiscially. I am more of a centrist when it comes to Fiscal policy(for example, I do NOT always think that corporations are in the right") And I do NOT think ANYONE needs a 400 M. retirement fund, when some of us can't hardly afford to live and we try our best(most likely, that person brown-nosed, inherited, blackmailed or BS'ed his way to that position, anyway..)

Careful!! B-) You're sounding a lot like me, comrade. B-D (man, I really get it in the economic threads, but I keep chugging)

All joking aside I'm am very Red State on social, moral and military matters as well as most other things but I'm more "Purple State" on economic matters. I guess growing up in Pittsburgh, although thigs are similar in places like Cincinnati, Cleveland and so forth, we are all blue collar cities and despite the huge fights at football season, we are all pretty much the same. That is good, at least I don't tow the party line like a Borg would. I like how Glenn Beck puts it, "it's not left/right, elephant/donkey, but right or wrong."

I have nothing against a welfare safety net that is geared to "teaching a man how to fish" while gettign through hard times but the way it is now, even with reform, is that people do take advantage of it knowingly or unknowingly. I know one lady, she just turned 40, hadn't had much of a job in her life, married twice, has one kid to her first husband, a second to her second one and a third one outside of marriage. She's on the dole and I think she is one of the ones that really doesn't know she is sucking off the system but it is a way of life to her. It's a shame, she graduated a year before I did and even when I was 18, I had more job skills than she does now. It's a shame that there are people who go through life like that shiftless and with no direction. Still this is one example where "The Man" is taking the father role, at least with monetary and other support. B-P

But, at least I am healthy(the ONE area where God has been all but PERFECTLY consistent in my life!!, mother than my nerves and sinuses, I am quite the picture of health, as far as I know) Oh, and a couple of wisdom teeth problems, too, but I just ignore them (for about the last 10 years now!!)

I'm not too bad off there either, I do needs to lose a little weight myself though.

I could quote but I wanted to get this off quick. I look at it this way, no matter what happens, even of God or some Intergalactic Hand of the Universe is ready to push humanity's reboot button, it is our duty to survive the best we can and make it to the other side whatever that be. Bring Art Bell into it again, he compared humanity's journey to like an old movie where you had piston engine planes flying to Europe and Hawaii and so on. You had a little red light in the cockpit that came on and when it does, you are at the point of no return. If a passenger has a heart attack, an engine conks out, or whatever, you still have to fly on and try to survive. You can't get back to New York City so you just have to keep plodding along to London.

I remember a John Wayne (he was a pilot to a DC-4 to 7 plane) movie like that where a plane took off from Hawaii to San Francisco where they lost an engine and it was hanging there creating a drag problem where they would have to ditch in the water due to lack of fuel and hope a boat they contacted would reach them. Instead they gave non-essential luggage and things "the heave ho" and they made it to San Francisco by the skin of their teeth. They only had 30 gallons of AvGas left when they landed.

Well, no matter what happens, I hope to survive whatever and try my best to fight the demons of this world, even if it is only one at time or even if I serve the equivalent of a cook or a radio operator to what God has planned.

I guess in a way, it is like the rules for a Morrow Project (a role playing game) Team where they are to rebuild, help others and survive.

Some good news though, Boo is drinking water by himself again although he drinks it from the tub, but right now, I'll take anything I can get. I don't like that but our goal is to get him to drink and eat on his own, hopefully getting him to drink on his own is a start.

It ain't over till its over. I'm here for the long run and curious to see what is going to happen. I'm riding the storm out...

Glad to hear that Boo seems to be gaining strength.

It takes a while to get better when you are sick, even for cats. In two or three days you should know a lot more about if he is recovering or not.

You know me, I'm on your side.

I want to see God punish the human race for being so wicked.

I have to admit that I kind of want to see billyblythe and shillery "get theirs," but I know that God's gonna' take care of them whether I see it or not.

As far as most of us sinners, however, I hope God shows compassion. I believe in His great love; and I pray that He forgives me. I have my share of past mistakes, and I'm not sure what the outcome will be for me. I love Him, and He knows that. I'm sorry; and He knows that.

Although I do have to admit being drawn to WATCH a "train wreck," I hope that I don't wish such a "wreck" ON [too many] others [billyblythe and shillery not included here, I guess I should be ashamed to say.]

I guess the fact that I have no compassion for anyone is a bad thing...I just believe that billyblythe and shillery are agents of evil.

I love the term "Train Wreck". I see so many of them happening that could be avoided but aren't and I can't do anything about it but watch.

I see the train wreck coming with the illegal situation and I see the train wreck coming with Muslims getting nukes and using them against us.

I see the train wreck with legalizing homosexual marriages and taking the Christian God out of the public eye.

I see the train wreck with our national traditions being swept away.

The only thing I have any control over is me and there are so many outside forces working against me that I don't know what to do except to see where it all leads. It is all out of my hands.

Thanks, I can use all the help and prayers I can get. He just drank a lot of water a bit ago. I have to watch picking him up soon after we feed him or he drinks, otherwise he could throw up. The vets can't find nothing wrong with him so they diagnose it as an infection.

The anitbiotics will help, I'm sure. Your cat hasn't had to take many, if any, in his life and his system is not immune or partially immune to them. Hopefully the germs aren't either.

You sure have had your share of bad luck lately.
